Good Days' Release Has Fans Wondering When SZA's Sophomore Album Will Finally Arrive
With the success that Good Days continues to experience along with the massive support for it, the talk by many fans of SZA online is when her second album will finally come out. June 2021 will mark four years since her debut studio album, "Ctrl," was released.
Due to how big that project was, the wait has been on since then. SZA hasn't provided any details on when exactly the second album will be out or how much of it has been completed lately, though.
SZA Also Won Big With 'Hit Different' Single Featuring Ty Dolla $ign In 2020
In addition to Good Days, SZA also won big with her "Hit Different" single featuring Ty Dolla $ign in September 2020. This went on to peak at No. 29 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and was regarded as one of the best R&B records of the year. This was the first song that fans had heard from SZA since the "The Other Side" song that she put out with Justin Timberlake in February. That appeared on the "Trolls World Tour" soundtrack.
Fans Expect A Huge 2021 From Top Dawg Entertainment
SZA is also still signed to Top Dawg Entertainment, a Los Angeles-based record label founded by Anthony "Top Dawg" Tiffith. Other stars at this label are Kendrick Lamar, ScHoolboy Q, Ab-Soul, and Isaiah Rashad. Many anticipate that Lamar and SZA put out albums in 2021 for the first time since 2017. Many believe that Rashad and Soul will finally deliver projects as well. These are two artists at the label who are also known for their solid lyricism, just like Lamar, who has been regarded as a legend for a few years now.
