Salma Hayek delivered way more than anyone expected yesterday. The 54-year-old actress flexed her karaoke muscles big-time for a late-night beach dance welcoming the New Year, with cleverly-tweaked lyrics shouting out COVID and getting mega props in the comments section. Salma, followed by 16.8 million on her Instagram, updated with video footage of herself on a beach last night. Fans still don't know where she is, but they know what she's thinking. The "Frida" star was also looking sensational. Check it out below.

Scroll for the video. If you missed Salma's closing post of 2020, you've now got one of the photos, with Hayek netting herself over 1.3 million likes for that jaw-dropping purple bikini.
Salma's Friday night post came as a low-key video likely shot with a smartphone. The Mexican was on sands and being accompanied by a small live band as she belted out Gloria Gaynor's 1978 "I Will Survive" hit – but with a major twist tailored to the global pandemic.

Salma, who initially appeared in a covered-up beach robe, then seemed to let loose a little more as she showcased a stunning and skimpy spaghetti-strap sundress, also wearing her signature brown hair down.
The lyrics were where it's at, though. "So many nights, just thinking how you did me wrong..." Salma sang, then adding: "Coronavirus, and I got strong! And I learned how to get along!!
Yup, it's wit all-around from Hayek, whose 2019 also ended with her showing a carousel of nose swab tests for COVID. See more photos after the video!

A caption from Salma greeted both her fans and the year ahead, reading: "Here we come 2021 full of hope, dreams, and unexpected strength. Ready for new adventures Aquí venimos 2021. Llenos de esperanza, sueños y una fuerza inesperada. Listos para nuevas aventuras."
A like quickly came in from "Friends" alum Jennifer Aniston, with fans seemingly losing it over the lyrics. "Line of my life," one fan wrote as they quoted her: "So many nights thinking how you did me wrong, coronavirus and I got strong."

Salma is one of the few celebrities in her age bracket to be racking up the IG followers at this speed. The actress turned 54 in September while on a sun-drenched Greek getaway, with comments to those photos once again seeing Instagram think Hayek doesn't age. Her last bikini shot, showing tropical shores and one heck of a body, came captioned:
"Last days of 2020. Never been more grateful for being healthy and in contact with nature."
Then came the sexy chocolate ice-cream photo that went "too far." Scroll for that.
