Brunson Felt Extremely Secure In Her Feelings Related To The Success Of 'Abbott Elementary'

In November, we took a look at some of Brunson's thoughts related to her certainty that "Abbott Elementary" would succeed.

Before embarking on the "Abbott Elementary" chapter of her life, Brunson had previously filmed pilots before. She was quite reserved about one pilot's progress and had strong feelings surrounding its future.

Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Brunson explained, "...I did a pilot once where I was like, 'Oh my God, if this goes, I don't know what I'm going to do. I'm going to hate my life. I don't want to move to Vancouver. This show isn't that special. It would've been my nightmare if that pilot had gone."

Brunson's reaction to "Abbott Elementary" was much different from the pilot she was referring to.

When she heard the news of 'Abbott' being nominated for the Emmys, Brunson tweeted, "Crying, shaking and throwing up has new meaning to me because I real life did all three."
