Ex-'Vanderpump Rules' Star Brittany Cartwright Is 'Proud' Of Her Pregnancy Curves

Brittany Cartwright has faced a lot of criticism over the size of her stomach in recent months and last night, December 30, she took to her Instagram page to fire back at her haters with a post about self-love.

As she and her husband, Jax Taylor, prepare for the April 2021 arrival of their first child, a baby boy, the former "Vanderpump Rules" cast member said that when it comes to her growing baby bump, she's extremely proud about what her body is doing.

"I put this on my story but ya know what, I deserve to post this with pride. I am so proud of my body for creating my son," Brittany wrote to her fans and followers, along with a photo of herself showing off her baby bump in a leopard-print bra gray leggings.

"I have had days, where I let negative comments from strangers get me down, but WHY!? I am growing a perfect and healthy human being who I have only dreamed of my entire life," she continued.

Brittany went on to say that she feels "lucky and blessed" to be pregnant.

"I am feeling very lucky and emotional to have this opportunity to be a mom and I will no longer let trolls influence my happiness. To all you other Mommy to be’s and mommies in general YOU ARE KILLING IT, don’t let opinions of others get you down, you will be the best mother to your beautiful baby just like me!! Be proud of your body because you are growing a human life! I am so honored I get to be a mom and have a beautiful son in just a few months. Keep smiling and sharing positive vibes, we need more of that in this world!" she wrote.

In a post shared earlier this month, Brittany confirmed she was leaving the "Vanderpump Rules" cast after five years. 

"The last 5 years on 'Vanderpump Rules' have been some of the most challenging, rewarding and fulfilling years of my life. Although this is difficult to share, Jax and I will not be returning for another season of 'Vanderpump Rules,'" she wrote on Instagram. "We are excited to take this time to focus on our growing family and share with you our new endeavors."

"[Bravo], [Evolution], and our 'Vanderpump' [cast mates] will always remain close to our hearts. Thank you to all the fans who have shared our journey with us and supported us through everything. We love you. Stay tuned ," Brittany teased.

While Brittany and Jax have both teased a potential spinoff series in recent weeks, Bravo has yet to confirm any such thing, nor has any other network tied themselves to any such project.

"Vanderpump Rules" season nine has not yet been renewed.
