Dove Cameron Celebrates Her Popularity Shirtless In Glitter

Dove Cameron is celebrating being Little Miss Popular – and with good reason. The 24-year-old actress and singer today revealed her "We Belong" single has been cherry-picked for Best Song of 2020. While "The Descendants" star didn't clarify whether this was a nomination or a win, she did take to her Instagram stories to mark the achievement, and she picked her headline-making shirtless look from February to celebrate. Dove, freshly single following her split from 25-year-old boyfriend Thomas Doherty, is closing 2020 on the up. See why below.

On Tuesday, Dove posted a quick story showing her smiling and from the shoulders up while in the black glitter and no-shirt panstuit she showcased back on February 17 2020. The story also showed Josephine Langford as winner of Favorite Young Actress of 2020.

Dove is fresh from thanking fans for their immense support since her music release.
"Hey you guys. I wanted to drop by and give you a little thank you for all the love and support on ‘We Belong’ in general, and also now ‘We Belong’ the video,” she said on Instagram, adding:
"Your reactions have been incredible, and Luke and I had such a fun time shooting the video. It makes it all the more special you guys are loving it as much as we loved shooting it."

Dove, who dated Thomas for nearly four years and this year told Byrdie about the pandemic morning smoothies he made her, is now solidly single. She confirmed the split on Instagram, also stating that the relationship was over in October. The last photo of Doherty was shared on April 21, with Dove also asking for "privacy" at this time.
"We Belong" is actually about the blonde's ex, which may make the promo for it a little tough, but Dove isn't suffering on that front.

Dove confirmed her split ahead of the holidays, writing:
"Hi all, we know there have been some rumors and confusion lately about the status of our relationship and we wanted to set the record straight," adding: "In October, Thomas and I decided to part ways. The decision was incredibly difficult, but we still have love for each other, and will remain friends."
"We Belong" brings Dove twirling around in a sheer, fairtyale-like pink dress while barefoot, taking on ethereal vibes at sunrise and also seeing the Fiat face appear to smash an avocado-like cake. Scroll for it.
