Britney Spears Is 'Mortified' Over Studio Voice Recording

Singer Britney Spears might have some explaining to do!
The 41-year-old pop star was pretty busy on Instagram on Monday night. She posted several topless photos along with a clip in which she could be heard singing in the background.
On Tuesday afternoon, the "Hold Me Closer" revealed that she didn't mean to post the video of her singing while she was "messing around" in the studio. Does this mean Britney is ready to make a comeback?
Did Britney Spears Just Confirm That She's Back In The Studio?
On Tuesday afternoon, the “Toxic” singer took to Instagram to share a video of her moving back and forth in front of the camera in a strapless gold dress and her favorite brown heels. Throughout the video, she repeatedly shifts her hips back and forth, plays with her hair, and, at one point, even hikes up the dress above her chest as if it’s about to slip.
In the caption, Britney wrote, "Holy sh*t !!! Mistake sh*t 🙄 !!! I posted the wrong video of me singing yesterday and once I did, I tried to play it off with the caption !!! Embrace the fall !!! Yep and try to play it off … yep that’s me !!!!"
"I was in the studio messing around and I accidentally posted that version !!! Mortified, completely mortified 😬😬😬 !!!" she continued. "Anyway … this is me last night in my new gold dress !!! Think I need to salsa in this dress 🎀🎀🎀 !!!"
The "Slumber Party" singer has disabled comments on her Instagram post. She's actually disabled comments on her Instagram posts since the start of the new year so fans have had to head elsewhere to express their excitement for Britney's potential new music.

On Monday night, the "Break The Ice" singer shared a 48-second clip of her singing. The Instagram post has since been deleted. Britney seems to be experimenting with her range as she sings one of her best-known songs.
In the caption, the pop star wrote, “Have you guys heard !!! I’m a star ⭐️ now mamma !!! LOL 😂 just kidding !!! Most of this sounds pretty flat … but I liked DOING IT AGAIN !!! Wait OOPS 🙊 !!! That was so lame 😒 I know !!!”
She added, “All good in the neighborhood … as most smarta**es say !!! You gotta be kidding me !!! NOPE !!! I’m not !!! Oh kiss my fucking a** !!! AND stay classy beautiful people 💋💋💋 !!!"
It's unclear why Britney would decide to add the caption if she posted the video by accident instead of just deleting it immediately after she posted it. By Tuesday afternoon, the video had been deleted along with the topless photos that she shared.
Britney Sang 'Baby One More Time' A Capella Last July
Back in July, Britney shared a selfie video that featured her singing “Baby One More Time.” Although the video is pretty dark, Britney's natural voice is unmistakable as she sings into her phone.
“This is me yesterday doing laundry and separating clothes 👚… ” Britney wrote in the caption. Although she had admitted that she hadn't used her voice to sing in “an extremely long time,” she wanted to give fans a “different version of Baby.”
Britney then went on to say that she has been asking to record a “different version” of the song for fourteen years “but as the TEAM said NO and serves me with 4 girls, my sister included, doing a 5 minute version of 4 remixed songs 🎥 to a T not even having to give effort or dance 💃🏼 … just shot it beautifully and the sound was NEW !!!”
Britney alleged that her producers “ruined it for me, embarrassed me and made me feel like absolutely nothing🙄🙄🙄 !!!” adding, “The truth is a f—ing bitch !!!” She added, “I share this because I am aware of my love and passion to sing … and my own family made a fool of me 😔 … I’m not going to be a victim !!!”
Although Britney admitted that “advanced musicians” might think that her natural voice is “horrible” or “bad,” she decided, “well WHEN I’M BAD, I’M BETTER.”
The video was met with both praise and critical comments, with many wondering when, if ever, Britney will release new music.
