Britney Spears stripped right down to tiny undies and gravity-defying shorts, even joking she's considering becoming a doctor while dancing the night away on Monday. The 39-year-old pop princess delivered another of her legendary home dances for her 27.1 million Instagram followers last night, throwing in mentions of the global pandemic and the fact that 2020 is wrapping up. The "Toxic" singer was dancing to Nelly Furtado's 2006 "Say It Right" track, and she was proving that at nearly 40, she's still got it. Check it out below.

Scroll for the video. It comes as Britney closes what was a tough year, with the singer largely suffering legal blows in her 2008-commenced conservatorship case, although she was allowed to expand her legal team.
The video, taken inside Spears' L.A. mansion, showed the Grammy winner shimmying her smokeshow body every which way, also working her hands and arms while in teeny-tiny black shorts, plus a red-and-white lacy bra as she worked it barefoot. "Ok...so I'm a fan of this song," Britney began.

"You can probably tell because I’ve danced to it before ??? !!!! As you all know .... 2020 was a challenging year for us all … thank you to my amazing fans that have given me so much support !!!! I’m grateful for you and thank you !!!!"
Then came the COVID mention, with the mom of two writing: "Who knows ... with all this time on my hands during quarantine I might even become a doctor ??⚕️ .... KIDDING ??? !!!"

Britney, who has also made headlines this month for her newly-dropped "Matches" collab with Backstreet Boys, managed to front media outlets ahead of the holidays for announcing she'd chopped off her trademark long blonde locks, opting for a chopper, layered do.
"Cut my hair ??♀️ !!!! You know what they say .... out with the old .... in with the new !!!!! Now let us pray ???✨ !!!!" she wrote while debuting the look.
Spears has, however, made pandemic headlines as boyfriend Sam Asghari tested positive for the virus.

On December 23, Britney's personal trainer boyfriend Sam Asghari made headlines for confirming he'd tested positive for COVID-19. The Iranian took to Instagram, telling fans:
“Recently I tested positive for Covid-19, I was lucky enough to catch the news before being around and infecting my loved ones (friends, family, significant other). I quickly isolated myself and started my quarantine process alone."
Asghari added that his "healthy lifestyle" was helping him out. He was able to spend Christmas with Britney, with the two posing in front of their tree.
