Tory Lanez put out his 'Loner' album last week which served as the "rap capsule." This is one of the many capsules that the Toronto rapper will be releasing that contains different genres.
The other ones that Lanez is planning to release are R&B, acoustic, Spanish, and more. For Loner, it contained 10 songs with appearances from 42 Dugg, Swae Lee, Tyga, Rich The Kid, Melii, Lil Wayne, and more. This release also came with people trying to cancel Lanez for allegedly shooting Megan Thee Stallion.
Lanez Expresses Frustration With Spotify Making 'Loner' Unavailable
Loner is still getting great feedback though as fans of Lanez are looking forward to hearing the other capsules as well. He took to his Twitter account on Monday though to say how Spotify took the album off its streaming platform then put it back up. Some fans cannot see it anymore, though.
"So they took the “loner capsule” off Spotify this morning for a reason i don’t know ....... after a few hours .... they put it back .... now the capsule is not in a lot of my fans library’s anymore...so I apologize if u have to re download ... I just clearly can’t catch a break."

Fans Support Lanez And Loner's Release
Shortly after Lanez let his fans know on Twitter what the issue was with Loner on Spotify, he had the support of many of his fans. They said that they hope the project is back online on the streaming platform.
As of now, the album is back on Spotify but that could suddenly change as Lanez stated before. When Loner wasn't available for the time being, fans were still able to tune into it on other platforms such as Apple Music and TIDAL.
Streaming services shouldn't treat artists differently just because the artists are in a shaky situation 🤦🏻♂️

Lanez Has Released Three Projects In 2020
In addition to "Loner," Lanez, released two other projects this year as well. In April, he put out the third installment of his "The New Toronto" mixtape series. This went on to debut at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart. It was led by singles such as "Do The Most" and "Who Needs Love?"
In September, the "Daystar" album was released as Lanez constantly denied shooting Megan Thee Stallion. Despite selling only 36,000 units in its first week, Daystar still debuted at No. 10 on the Billboard 200 for his sixth consecutive top 10 debut.
Lanez Plead Not Guilty To Shooting Megan Thee Stallion Last Month
In mid-November, Lanez's attorney plead not guilty to the felony assault charges on the table for allegedly shooting Megan. What's included here are one count of assault with a semiautomatic firearm, and one count of carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle.
The L.A. County D.A.'s Office also alleged that he caused "great bodily injury" to Megan. If convicted, he faces 22 years and eight months in prison. No trial date has been set yet, though. Lanez remains confident that he will be found innocent as well.
