Eminem's Daughter Hailie Jade Shows Off Gorgeous Diamond Engagement Ring

Hailie Jade Mathers recently announced that she's officially engaged to her longtime boyfriend, Evan McClintock. Hailie, the daughter of famous rapper Eminem, shared photos of her and her fiancé celebrating, along with a close-up of her massive diamond ring. 

Many fans have since expressed their curiosity about Eminem's reaction to the engagement, teasing McClintock about treating Hailie right. Others also questioned if McClintock had asked the Grammy award-winning rapper for his permission to propose to his daughter.

Eminem has spoken about the couple only once, as he's very private about his family and personal life. The rapper said at the time that Hailie had a boyfriend, was doing good, and had made him proud.

On Monday, February 6th, Hailie announced that she and her boyfriend McClintock had officially gotten engaged. She posted photos on Instagram of her and her new fiancé popping champagne bottles in celebration. Hailie also captioned it, "casual weekend recap… [crying emoji] [heart emoji] 2.4.23 [ring emoji]. I love you @evanmcclintock11."

The photos shared by the podcast host showed her dressed in a black leather jacket, gray jeans, booties, and a small bag. McClintock looked very handsome in a white shirt, beige pants, a black coat, and brown boots. One photo gave fans a close-up of Hailie's beautiful diamond ring, which was elegantly complemented by a simple and classy gold band.

Fans quickly flooded the comment section of Hailie's post with congratulatory comments, wishing the couple a happy life together. One fan's statement read, "Stop!!! Can't wait to hear about it on the podcast. Congratulations xx." Another fan wrote, "best day ever I'm so beyond happy for y'all. Congratulations."

However, many fans were curious about Eminem's reaction to the engagement, with some asking if McClintock had asked for his permission to propose. One such comment read per Page Six, "Imagine having to ask Em to marry his daughter." Another fan remarked, "I wonder if [his] knees were weak and his arms were heavy," referencing Eminem's hit song "Lose Yourself."

Hailie's sister, Alaina Marie Scott, also commented on the Instagram post, writing, "couldn't be happier for the two of you. Can't wait to do this chapter of life with you guys." She also added happy tears, champagne, and heart emojis to the comment.

The newly engaged couple first met in 2016 while at Michigan State University and got together that same year. McClintock debuted on Hailie's Instagram in December of that year, featuring in her birthday celebration post.

At the time, Hailie captioned the post, "Couldn't have asked for a better 21st birthday celebration (or a better guy to have by my side)." The couple has been together since, and he's featured on her social media multiple times.

In celebration of Valentine's Day in 2022, Hailie made an Instagram tribute post to McClintock. The post included a photo of the adorable couple kissing with a beautiful sunset in the background. Hailie captioned it, "yesterday & everyday."

While Eminem is usually very private about his family and personal life, he's previously spoken openly about Hailie and McClintock before. In March 2020, the 50-year-old had an interview with Mike Tyson on his podcast, Hotboxin' with Mike Tyson.

During the interview, Tyson asked Eminem if his daughter, Hailie, had any kids of her own. The legendary artist, whose real name is Marshall Mathers III, replied per Page Six, "Just a boyfriend. She's doing good. She's made me proud for sure."

The "The Real Slim Shady" rapper has previously sung about his daughters, particularly Hailie, in several of his rap songs. A good example is the award-winning music "Mockingbird," which could be considered a tribute to Hailie and Alaina.
