Eminem Disses Snoop Dogg On His Deluxe Track Titled 'Zeus'

Eminem is undoubtedly considered one of the greatest rappers of all time.

The “Till I Collapse” crooner once called out rapper Snoop Dogg on a track from his newly released deluxe version of his eleventh studio album entitled “Music to be Murdered By.”

Earlier this year, Dogg shared his opinion publicly and stated that he didn’t think Eminem was qualified to be tagged as one of the greatest rappers of all time.

On December 18, Eminem released a follow-up to his eleventh album, which was originally released in January. The album, titled “Music to Be Murdered By” Side B, featured collaborations with famed artists including Dr Dre, Ty Dolla $ign and Skylar Gray.

On the track “Zeus”, Eminem, raps: “As far as squashing beef I’m used to people knocking me / But just not in my camp / And diplomatic as I’m tryin’ to be the last thing I need is Snoop doggin’ me. He continued and rapped, “Man, Dogg, you were like a damn god to me / man not really, I had dog backwards.”

On the same track, the record producer apologized to Rihanna for taking Chris Brown’s side years ago. The apology was about a leaked decade-old track in 2019.

When fans heard the lyrics of the new track, they were astonished and weighed in on it immediately.

On the leaked track, Eminem supported Brown who had unashamedly pleaded guilty to assaulting his then-girlfriend, Rihanna while on the way to the Grammy Awards in 2009.

He admitted his wrongdoing and rapped an apology that the leaked track was not meant to cause Rihanna grief.

When the track first leaked last year, the rapper’s spokesperson Dennis Dehenny issued a statement claiming that the track in question was over a decade old and that Eminem and the “Savage×Fenty” founder now have a great relationship.

The multiple award-winning artist also rapped about the ongoing global health pandemic on his new album, with a music video for one of the tracks titled “Gnat”.

The new rap track is not the first time Eminem dropped a piece of new music for his unprepared fans as his previous two albums, “Kamikaze,” and “Music to Be Murdered By” were released without prior notice.

The artists’ last surprise album was accompanied by a performance at the Academy Awards and a cameo appearance in a “Saturday Night Live” sketch.

For the music video of one of the track on the “Music To Be Murdered By” album titled “Gnat,” Eminem promoted taking safety precautions against the global pandemic.

On the track, he also addressed his former addiction to valium and the Donald Trump administration.

Cole Bennett was in charge of directing the song's music video and the rapper shared an Instagram photo of him wearing a facemask with a hilarious caption as announced that no bats were harmed during the production of the “Gnat” video.
