'90 Days Fiancé': SojaBoy And Lisa Hamme’s Heartbreaking Divorce Chronicles

The reality TV show “90 Day Fiancé” is proving that love is an arduous journey as another couple heads to a divorce path.

Nigerian rapper Usman “SojaBoy” Umar and his ex-finance Lisa Hamme officially announced their split in May, and since then, Umar has firmly closed the door on any hopes of reconciliations as he officially served his estranged wife Hamme with divorce papers.

In a chat with InTouch Weekly, the rapper added that Hamme was not taking the news well. In the chat, Umar shared that Hamme did not want to accept the divorce papers.

Umar continued and said all effort by his lawyer to contact Hamme resulted in being yelled at and blank responses, and later a Zoom call where his estranged wife allegedly lied to people.

On the prolonged legal battle, Umar maintained that he is free and happier now and physically getting better without the drama and constant lies.

In an Instagram post, he excitedly shared news of his divorce on Monday with a video clip from their wedding. In the caption, he wrote that he had either been brainwashed or charmed by Hamme.

The caption continued with a face palm and prayer hand emoji as he thanked God for his newfound freedom.

According to InTouch, Hamme also confirmed that she was done with the marriage via a Zoom call on Friday. The process leading to the divorce was a long and arduous one as Hamme accused her ex in March of using her to get on the “90 Day Fiancé” cast to promote his rap career.

As reported by InTouch, Hamme lamented on a now-deleted Instagram Live that she felt used by Umar, who she alleged married her just to be on a TV and promote his music.

She shared her side of the story and said she tried to work with Umar, his brothers also did the same, but the rapper was adamant as he chose to do whatever he wanted at her expense.

She also accused him of doing things, irrespective of how she felt about them and it almost seemed like she did not matter to him.

Hamme further accused her ex of running a romance scam, which is illegal in Nigeria. She finished by saying the alleged romance scam intensified the stigma against Nigeria. According to her, that was all she was trying to run from.  

After the split, Hamme wasted no time in moving on as she has been hinting at a romance with her new mystery man. The media personality is still keeping the identity of her new love interest a secret, but she shared a photo of a bouquet of roses addressed to her.

For an early Christmas gift on December 9, Hamme shared a photo of a pair of gold earrings that spelled out “BGLisa” and captioned the post that Mr. Right did it again.

Earlier in fall, Hamme shared on her social media that she was talking to someone but did not reveal the identity of the mystery man.
