Ariana Grande's Fans Show Emotions Over Her Symbolic Engagement Ring

The pandemic year ends on a positive note for American singer Ariana Grandeas she recently announced her engagement to boyfriend Dalton Gomez.

Her fans called the “Arianators” first celebrated her engagement and later came to a new conclusion about her new engagement ring.

Before the “Yours Truly” singer met Gomez in early 2020, she was previously engaged to Comedian Pete Davidson before breaking it off. After her break off with Davidson, Grande spent the year 2019 single except for a rumored fling with Mikey Foster.

As reported, the “Don’t Look Up” singer and her now fiancé Gomez was spotted kissing outside a Los Angeles bar in February.  The duo began spending a lot of time together and quarantined together in March 2020.

 Their relationship was somewhat made public when Grande’s “Stuck With U” music video showed photos of them together, but the singer remained private with her relationship.

The relationship’s seriousness was a constant topic up for discussion in the media. In June, Showbiz Cheat Sheet predicted that the relationship was serious due to Grande’s changed spending habits.

Grande and her then-boyfriend, now fiancé, first met when she was looking to purchase a home. Months later, the singer purchased not one but two homes, and the Los Angeles-based realtor popped the question later.

Grande’s friends celebrated the news, and Alfredo Flores, Grande’s friend, and photographer congratulated her via a tweet.

“The biggest congratulations ever to one of my best friends. I am so happy for you,” he wrote. 

Her mom also congratulated the new couple on their engagement via Twitter and shared that she was excited to welcome Gomez to the family.

The Grammy Award-winning singer shared close-up photos of her ring in an Instagram post, which she captioned, “forever n then some.”

Her dedicated fans were quick to notice the ring’s uniqueness. The diamond engagement ring also featured a pearl, a gift Grande got from her Nonna. Marjorie “Nonna” Grande is the singer’s maternal grandmother. 

Following her husband’s death, Frank in 2014, Nonna took a pearl from his tie pin and made it into a ring for her granddaughter. Grande shared tweets about the sentimental jewelry and wrote that her Nonna had given it to her because her late grandfather told her the pearl would protect Grande in a dream.

The “Arianators” believed the same pearl is set alongside Grande’s engagement ring.

According to an estimation of the singer’s ring size made by Design Director Kate Earlam-Charnley of “Taylor & Hart,” the engagement ring is purported to be equivalent to 3 carats.

However, the retailing experts were unable to estimate the cost of the ring without having it in possession. Earlam-Charnley speculated that the jewelry would cost between $146,000 to $332,000, assuming that the oval ring has a high color and clarity gradient.
