Lala Kent opened up about the potentially upcoming ninth season of "Vanderpump Rules" during an interview on Andy Cohen's late-night talk show, "Watch What Happens Live," on Sunday night, December 20.

Before addressing her current relationship with on-again, off-again friend James Kennedy, Lala told Andy that while she hopes the cast of the Bravo reality series will be brought back to the network for season nine, reality television isn't her focus at the moment. Instead, she is focused on welcoming her first child.

In June of this year, amid the Black Lives Matter movement, Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute, were fired amid rumors of racist behavior against the only Black cast member of "Vanderpump Rules," Faith Stowers. Then, months later, Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright confirmed they too would be left out of the possible ninth season.

During another segment of the show, a viewer called in to ask Lala about where she stands with James, who she's feuded with on and off in recent years.

"You know, James has... I have such fond memories of just us back in the day," Lala confirmed.

"We're on great terms and as far as I know, he has not picked up a drink. I am so proud of him," she continued.

As fans of "Pump Rules" will recall, James made the decision to get sober amid season eight and has maintained his sobriety for over a year.

Although James lost his job at SUR Restaurant due to his drunken behavior years ago, he has since returned to the restaurant.
