'RHOA' Star Kandi Burruss Applauds Porsha Williams' Transformation, Cynthia Bailey's Wedding Drama

Kandi Burruss appeared on "Watch What Happens Live" on Sunday, December 20, where she opened up about the incredible changes she's seen in her "Real Housewives of Atlanta" cast mate Porsha Williams.

Speaking to host Andy Cohen, Kandi said that while Porsha endured a number of moments she isn't exactly proud of on the show, including a fight with Kenya Moore, she's come a long way as she focuses her attention on fighting against racial inequality and injustice.

“I think it’s an amazing evolution," Kandi admitted. 

"I think it’s really a wonderful thing that she can show that change. So many times we’ve seen people stay in the same place so to see her be able to, over the years, go from where we seen her back then to be able to get at the forefront of the movement, standing up for Breonna Taylor, even putting herself on the line and her freedom on the line to stand up for the rights of a lot of people, of all people, that’s major and I commend her for that,” Kandi stated.

During another segment of the show, Kandi reflected on the drama that took place between Cynthia Bailey and her now-husband Mike Hill ahead of their October wedding.

“I got where Mike was coming from but at the same time, I kind of understood where Cynthia was coming from. This is her big day. She’s never going to do it again. This is hopefully the last marriage she’s ever going to have, so she really wants to have that moment," Kandi shared. 

"Even though for him, I got what he was saying like, ‘Do you really want to marry me, or not?’" she continued.

Also during the show, Kandi addressed the idea that married people who are separated should be allowed to date other people after LaToya Ali commented on the issue during Sunday night's episode of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" amid her split from Adam Ali.

“I guess it depends on who you ask. If they are separated, which he also, he was saying they’re filing for divorce," Kandi began.

"Because I’ve had conversations with him outside of the show. He was very clear on they were filing for divorce but they live in the same house, that’s what makes it tricky," Kandi went on. "I never understood how that works. It’s weird."

LaToya filed for divorce from Adam shortly after filming wrapped on season 13.
