Navarone Garibaldi Garcia Had A Brush With Death Ahead Of Sister Lisa Marie Presley's Passing

Navarone Garibaldi Garcia is detailing a near-death experience he had just before his late sister Lisa Marie Presley.

The singer was visiting an animal sanctuary with his mom Priscilla Presley while feeding a camel, it turned on him. "When I ran out of food, it bit me by the hand and lifted me up almost off my feet," the Them Guns frontman shared exclusively with People.

"It then dropped me on the ground and pounced. While it was pouncing on me, it literally got my whole head in its mouth and bit me." The camel had been abused he shared and normally animals in the sanctuary have the possibility to snap from their trauma.

The sanctuary workers were unable to get the camel off of him, luckily, a dog on the grounds was able to help. "The dog knew something was wrong and was freaking out and going at its face. That's what got the camel off."

The 34-year-old recalls that his mom had a look of horror on her face. The 77-year-old was "freaking out. She was traumatized." The sanctuary called 911 of course, but by that time things were a little more under control and Navarone wanted to take his own car to the hospital.

They were an hour away from the L.A. hospital that he wanted to go to closer to his home. He recalls how he looked when he got to the hospital. "When we got to the emergency room, it was funny because everybody was sitting there with nothing too serious looking, meanwhile I had blood all over me."

His bandmate, Kyle Hamood remembers Navarone sending him a picture of his injuries. "The photos that he sent me didn't look real. I thought that he was starring in a horror movie photoshoot or something."

The singer realizes how lucky he is because that could have gone a whole other way. "I mean, I was happy I survived before, but now it's like, thank God I survived," he tells the publication. Mostly, he was fearful that his mother would lose a child.

"My mom would've lost two kids in two weeks," he states boldly. The moment was bleak for obvious reasons and unfortunately, Priscilla went on to lose her daughter Lisa Marie days later after celebrating a win for the film Elvis starring Austin Butler who played her father.

Navarone shares "I heal quick," and is focused on helping his mom grieve her only daughter.

It has been revealed since the singer's passing that she had opioids in her system. Presley had dealt with a substance abuse problem on and off in her life. Unfortunately, her sudden death seems to be brewing a rift in the family.

Priscilla is attempting to gain control over her daughter’s estate and allegedly battling her granddaughter Riley Keough to do so. Lisa Marie has only been in the ground for a few weeks. We hope these rumors aren’t true.
