Chelsea Handler wants Rep. George Santos out of the House!
The Republican Party member became the talk of the town after people began poking holes in his life story, including his claims that his grandparents survived the Holocaust. However, things turned wilder when a Navy veteran revealed that Santos had duped him in an elaborate pet surgery scam in 2016. Following that, Handler has joined those asking for the resignation of Santos in the last few weeks.
Chelsea Handler Calls George Santos A Liar In New IG Post
From claiming to own 13 properties to saying that his mother was in the World Trade Center — in the South Tower— during 9/11, Santos has said it all. Unfortunately, that is not where the embellishments stop, as Handler recently uncovered in her public callout for his resignation.
In a video that opens with her holding a copy of her book, "Lies That Chelsea Handler Told Me," the comic star is heard saying, "I'm here to talk about another notorious liar, George Santos. It turns out lying isn't the only thing George and I have in common. I also got my start in pageants," referring to the side-by-side pic of her and Santos in pageant outfits that popped up on the clip.
While Handler is a little girl wearing a blue satin dress and a "Teen of America" sash, the congressman is covered with a red feathery dress, some makeup, a wig, and diamond accessories.
When the photo faded, the former "Chelsea Lately" host stated that Santos "is much more than a half Black Jewish gay college volleyball star whose mother died in 9/11 and then again several years later, he's a congressman, and that part is true."
The 47-year-old then took her fans on a journey highlighting Santos' denial of being a drag queen before he "fessed up to occasionally dressing up in drag." The New York 3rd district rep claimed that he was "young and had fun at a festival," causing Handler to respond, "yeah, you did. For three years."

"But now this liar, liar, pantyhose buyer is getting paid to make decisions that he has no business making," she added before referencing his involvement in the 2016 pet scam. The "National Lampoon Presents Cattle Call" continued:
"George also backed Florida's Don't Say Gay bill. I wonder what Kitara Ravache thinks of that. If that's not enough, Matt Gates likes him. I guess George lied to him about his age and gender."
Handler then encouraged viewers to get "George Santos or Anthony Devolder or Vicky Christina Barcelona or whatever the f**k name he's going by now" to resign. If the embattled rep refused to leave, the "Love You, Mean It with Whitney Cummings" executive producer suggested that he could at least lend "one of his dresses to Majorie Taylor Green."
"Congressman George Santos, what a drag," she concluded, immediately receiving applause for the epic content from her fans in the comments. One fan called her "Chelsea Handler: Voice of the People," and another commented, "These skits are the best. Vicky Cristina Barcelona? Genius & Taste."
"Informative, comedic - just amazing as always. George Santos (aka Vicky Christina Barcelona ) needs to resign from Congress now. Thanks for making us laugh and spreading awareness, Chelsea!" a third enthusiast chimed in.
A fourth person wondered, "why [do] I need to provide every single detail about myself to rent an apartment but this person was elected to congress and absolutely no one knows anything about him?" Meanwhile, a fifth commenter advised Santos, "Don't be a drag just be a queen."
The Openly Gay Politician Allegedly Absconded With A Veteran's $3,000 In 2016
A previous report from The Blast noted that Santos had scammed Navy veteran Richard Osthoff of $3,000. Per the old-timer's claims, he had met the Republican while looking for a way to raise the money mentioned for his service dog, Sapphire.
The dog has been diagnosed with a stomach tumor, meaning she had to undergo surgery to remove it. It was at this point that a veterinarian technician informed Osthoff of a guy who could help.
Thus, the retired soldier was introduced to Anthony Devolder, a man who ran an animal charity known as Friends of Pets United, and coined the alias from his legal name — George Anthony Devolder Santos. As expected, Devolder was willing to raise funds for the canine and ultimately set up a GoFundMe campaign for it, closing it when it hit the $3,000 mark.
From then on, the lawmaker became "increasingly difficult to contact," eventually absconding with the money. Without the surgery, Sapphire died the following year. Osthoff has since declared his intention to get his pound of flesh through the legal system.
