Hayek, during a recent appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!," said her sultry lap dance scene with Tatum almost took a turn for the worst as she claimed that the "21 Jump Street" actor "nearly killed" her.

The actress explained there was a scene that didn't make the movie's final cut. According to her, she was upside down with her legs left "hanging somewhere." Hayek pointed out that in that position, she lost her sense of direction and didn't do what she was supposed to, adding that an accident almost ensued.

Hayek then clarified that what she feared at that moment was a wardrobe malfunction as her pants were beginning to come off, and she couldn't remember if she had on underwear.

"Channing held on to my pants, but I was really concerned because my pants were going away, and I couldn't remember if I had underwear or not in this moment," she shared. "So, instead of putting my hands to protect my head, I just held onto the pants. He's like, 'Put your hands up,' and I'm like, 'No, no, no, no.'"

Hayek added, "Everybody came in and kind of took me away from him, and he said, 'What's wrong with you?' I said, 'What's wrong with me? You nearly killed me!'"

In her appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" Kimmel quizzed to know if the actress has ever had a lap dance from a male dancer, to which she replied in the negative.

"No, no, not really," she said before going on to praise Tatum for his incredible dancing skills. "I mean, if you're gonna start somewhere, why not Channing?" She added.

Hayek said that she deserved the dance from the "best dancer" because she had played the stripper role in so many movies before, and now she just had to "sit down and enjoy it."

According to People magazine, the actress had previously pointed out that Tatum had some wonderful moves up his sleeves for the new "Magic Mike" movie.

"If you thought he could dance before, you are going to realize you haven't seen anything. His dance skills, he just got better," she said.

The "Dear John" actor hinted that reprising his role in the "Magic Mike" franchise was not an easy task for him and that he almost rejected it.

Tatum, 42, in his appearance on the "Kelly Clarkson Show," divulged that the fitness program he had to undergo to be ready for the role was quite difficult, and he had to starve himself.

He explained to Clarkson that he was hesitant to star in the movie because he felt his body wasn't in the best shape.

"It's hard even if you do work out to be in that kind of shape," he said, per New York Post. "You have to starve yourself." He continued, "I don't think when you're that lean, it's actually healthy for you."
