The Clermont Twins, Shannon and Shannade, are set to join the cast of "Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood" for season 7.

According to The Jasmine Brand, VH1 producers are looking to spice up the cast for the hit reality show and bring on the controversial former "Bad Girls Club" stars.

The real-life twins are known for their hotshots on Instagram, being featured in Nicki Minaj's "Goof Form" music video and modeling for Kanye West's Yeezy. Sources say production of the "Love & Hip Hop" franchise has been shut down during the crisis.

It appears the producers and network are silently working in the background gearing things up for when production does start up again.

The casting choice is sure to cause a ton of controversy due to Shannade's infamous arrest involving escort work and a dead man. As The Blast previously reported, earlier this year, Shannade was released from prison after serving the majority of her one-year sentence.

The Yeezy model stayed at the FCI Dublin prison located in California. The facility is a low-security federal correctional institution that holds about 1,298 inmates.

Prosecutors accused the model of making $20,000 in purchases on a credit card she swiped from a man who died after hiring her as a prostitute. She pleaded for months to not be thrown in prison but the judge didn't care.

Shannade was never accused of playing a role in the death. The death was ruled an overdose by officials.

In the original criminal indictment, prosecutors said, “on the evening of January 31, 2017, the defendant arranged to have a prostitution date with a man (the “Victim”) at his Manhattan apartment.

Further, “Although it is unknown what happened while the defendant was inside the Victim’s apartment for over three hours, the Victim was found dead the next morning from a drug overdose, there were baggies of cocaine and a tablet that contained fentanyl around the apartment, and a loose condom that appeared to have been broken was found on the Victim’s bed.”
