Vin Diesel has finally got his franchise back after beefing with Dwayne Johnson over, well, just about everything. Despite a so-called plea by Diesel for his "younger brother" to come and finish the franchise and star in "Fast X", The Rock remained as immovable as his nickname.

Meanwhile, Diesel just released the poster of what is likely to be the penultimate movie of the main franchise and fan reactions border from excitement to the fine art of roasting. Here's what Instagram had to say about the "forever" franchise!

The poster is as dramatic as it can be, showing a close-up of Vin Diesel in all his, err, bald splendor, sitting in prayer and holding a cross. Even his frown has muscles.

There's no trailer or release date for the tenth installment of the movie, simply called "Fast X" and it bears the tag, "the end of the road begins," which has sent Instagram users into a tizzy, as they joke about future titles.

And no, no one believes this is the end. Clearly! Like this commenter, who came with not just one, but a whole litany of names for the next several titles:

"Next one will be

1. End of the road In the middle.

2. End of the road almost there.

3. Finally made it to the end of the road.

4. End of the road Ends: Part 1

5. End of the road Ends: Part 2

6. End of the road Ends: Finale

7. New Journey Begins."

Another Instagram user felt, "They gonna make 10 more after this for sure. It makes 0 sense to discontinue your biggest revenue-generating franchise."

And, "holy f--k this is boring, you can’t even make the catch title phrase without mentioning a sequel."

And, "Thank f--k it's ending after the f--king train wreck that was basically just "Spaceballs 2 electric boogaloo"

Here's Vin Diesel, in"Fast X":

Vin Diesel Plays The Paul Walker Card

Of course, one of the reasons behind the success of the franchise was the late actor, Paul Walker. He was part of the franchise from the start till "Furious 7." He passed away in a single-vehicle collision in 2013, and his brothers Cody and Caleb had to step in to complete his role of Brian O'Conner in the franchise, with the help of CGI.

Diesel put up a little tribute on Instagram, featuring a montage of the movie from the very start, captioning it, "it was all a dream."

Fans commented on his IG post, talking about how they missed Brian O'Conner and would be glad to have him back for one last time. There have been rumors of a CGI-made Paul Walker featuring in "Fast X" but production is tight-lipped about the details.

Meanwhile, some fans did have advice to offer about the franchise, writing, "9% of the population wishes the fast franchise stayed on the same track of the first movie, where it was about the street racing, underground car scene, but was brutally destroyed by because some superhero garbage. Stick to the roots!!"

Paul Walker's daughter, Meadow only had good things to say, as she commented: "I love you. My family forever and always."

So here go Aquaman and Groot, together, even though they belong to different universes!

Jason Momoa will play the villain in the tenth installment of the F&F franchise and seemed rather excited about it as he mentioned in an interview, "I get to play the bad guy, which I haven’t gotten to do for a while. I’m gonna [be] the bad boy — the very flamboyant bad boy."

Diesel is pretty excited too as he captioned the above picture with: "Two weeks away from the FastX trailer launch!!!! Blessed to be a part of a Saga that encourages such great work from the many amazing artists that have made this the world’s Saga! A still from the set after an intense, week-long scene with my brother", tagging Momoa's IG handle, prideofgypsies.

While some fans are busy making jokes, there are plenty of those who can't wait to watch FastX even as they wonder, after Mars, will they go to Jupiter next?
