Disney isn’t a company at this point, it is the definition of worldwide influence and business prestige. Founded in 1923 formerly known as Disney Brothers Cartoon Studio, almost 100 years later the original vision of Walt Disney has not only been realized, but it is safe to say that his visions have been far exceeded.
Heck, the company has grown to such astronomical levels of success that acquiring the world’s leading entertainment brands like Marvel and Pixar were practically child’s play. Though things went interstellar when they acquired a galaxy far far away.
An Unexpected Launch
The latest addition to the Star Wars universe and the Disney Plus streaming platform, being none other than “The Mandalorian” live action series, became the flagship title for many new subscribers who couldn’t wait to view the first ever production of its kind like this.
Yet no one could have anticipated how popular Disney Plus would actually be. On launch day, the servers actually crashed causing an uproar of disappointment on the web. An outlet reached out to a representative and were given the following explanation.
Down
“The consumer demand for Disney+ has exceeded our high expectations. We are pleased by this incredible response and are working to quickly resolve the current user issue,” a Disney+ spokesperson said. “We appreciate your patience.”
That’s right! The sheer number of people who logged on to access Disney Plus crashed the servers because of the demand!
And Disney has continued this level of hype by expanding their server capacity, and their fan service in virtually every way! Did you see the latest episodes of “The Mandalorian”?
Iconic Glory!
Chapters 13, 14, and now 15 are now among some of the most widely known Star Wars episodes ever. With Clone Wars characters like Ahsoka Tano, Bo Katan, and of course, Boba Fett now having made regular appearances in all their iconic glory!
The last chapter played off the previous by bringing Boba back yet again, but this time he appears with polished armor that has never been seen in any Star Wars production ever! Even in the original Trilogy he had battle marks on his armor, but acquiring his armor again prompted him to give it a renewed appearance.
Staying On Target
Here are just a few of the comments from fans on the official Star Wars Instagram after they revealed how Boba looks in chapter 15.
“LOVED HIS APPEARANCE SO MUCH” (Commentator) “”I’m a simple man making his way through the galaxy.” (Commentator) “ “That scene and the Vader Rogue One scene were some of the best Star Wars moments to come out of the new shows and movies. Ahsoka’s intro scene is up there, too.” (Commentator) “That action scene with him was worth the wait ?” (Commentator)
