Jake Paul has been making plenty of headlines over the past month and it all started with his knockout win over former NBA star, Nate Robinson, in November.
The knockout occurred in the second round as the fight was an undercard match for the highly anticipated Mike Tyson–Roy Jones Jr fight. He has also expressed his desire to fight Conor McGregor. At the same time though, he is now facing some very serious legal issues regarding his crew assaulting someone.
Paul’s Crew Reportedly Assaulted Man After Fight Party
According to TMZ, Paul is being sued by a man who claims he was beaten down by his crew at his Nate Robinson victory party.
Legal documents obtained by the outlet state that this man’s name is Gabriel Dos Santos, and he was severely beaten up while people were getting kicked out of the party. Blood was running from Dos Santos’s nose, and he also suffered a black eye.
His attorney, Simon P. Etehad, added that Dos Santos was repeatedly kicked and punched in the face, body, arms, and legs.
Gabriel Dos Santos Suffered Fracture, Dislocated Shoulder, And More
The extent of Dos Santos‘ injuries were pretty severe as he suffered a fractured cheek, dislocated shoulder, cuts on his face, along with bruises to the forehead and eyes. He did clarify that Paul did not attack him.
Despite this, he still wants Paul to be held accountable for “negligently hiring and supervising” the men who caused pain to him. As of now, the rising boxer still hasn’t publicly spoken on this incident and this may not happen anytime soon either.
Paul Also Reportedly Looted Mall In Arizona This Summer
During the protests/riots of the murder of George Floyd this summer, Paul was charged with two misdemeanors for looting in a Scottsdale, AZ mall. The charges on the table were criminal trespassing and unlawful assembly.
“Following the riots and looting that occurred on the evening of May 30 2020 at Scottsdale Fashion Square mall, the Scottsdale Police Department received hundreds of tips and videos identifying social media influencer, Jake Joseph Paul, as a participant in the riot,” said the Scottsdale Police Department said in a statement to The Verge.
Paul’s Offer For Conor McGregor To Fight Him Is $50 Million
As far as the possible fight vs Conor McGregor, Paul has been very vocal on social media about trying to make this official as soon as possible. He called McGregor out on Instagram and even started hurled insults. One was how is he an “Irish c*nt” and that he is too scared to fight him.
Paul also called out UFC President, Dana White for supposedly being scared as well. Paul went on to explain that UFC isn’t doing well financially and that him taking McGregor is what they need. McGregor has a $50 million offer to take on this fight.
