Cori Broadus is sharing her health struggles with her fans.

Despite being born into the fame and fortune of the legendary rapper Snoop Dogg, Cori has gone through some really tough times. For as long as fans can remember, Cori has remained honest about her issues at the risk of getting judged by outsiders. The youngest child and only daughter of Dogg showed her vulnerable side once again when she told her nearly 700k followers about her upcoming biopsy.

Per Mayo Clinic, a biopsy procedure involves the removal of a piece of a sample of cells or tissue from one's body to allow for testing in a laboratory. In other words, medical officials use a biopsy to test if a person's body abnormalities are caused by cancer or other conditions.

Taking to her Instagram Story on Tuesday, Cori posted a picture that she snapped while watching a cartoon on television, with the words, "I get a kidney biopsy today I'm so scared 😭😭😭 last time I got one I was like 7/8," across it.

In a second update, the 23-year-old is seen wearing a nose mask in a black-and-white shot featuring her longtime beau and fiancé, Wayne Deuce. Cori looked tired as she rested on Deuce's shoulder, presumably waiting for attendants to get to her.

The nose mask returned in a third Story showing her lying on a bed and throwing the peace sign. The "Trouble" voice actress also wore a hospital gown and a head covering as she told her fans that she would keep them updated.

Fans soon found out that the "Sittin' In My Room" singer's biopsy could not be done because her blood pressure and heart rate were "way too high they don't want to risk anything, so have to reschedule and see a cardiologist."

Once she gets the cardiologist's all-clear, she will reschedule the biopsy and "be put to sleep" by an anesthesiologist during the procedure. The singer explained in one video that doctors thought her condition was triggered by dehydration and nervousness, so they let her go.

Aside from giving insights into her different conditions, Cori has shared some of her mental health problems on social media. In 2021, the then-21-year-old disclosed in an Instagram update that her mental health "has not been so great" in the "last few weeks."

Things had been so terrible for the "Reincarnated" star that she tried ending her life "at one point." Luckily, being surrounded by the love of her family and Deuce "really give [sic] me a purpose to live & helped me realize life is much more than materialistic things."

She shared more insight in an Instagram video informing her followers about the "frustrating" situation she found herself in. "Just because my dad is who he is doesn't mean I don't get sad; that doesn't mean that I don't want things or that I don't feel a way. I don't know how to explain it," Cori said.

Recalling her childhood, including being diagnosed with lupus, the "Daddy's Girl" hitmaker said, "I've always been sad. I've always been depressed. I feel like I've been through a lot." Cori also recalled being bullied before emotionally detailing her suicide attempt and conclusively stating:

"When things get hard, just pray. Taking your life is not worth it. It's not okay. Let's get our mental [health] right. Let's do what we gotta do together."

The 'CHOC Factory' Co-Owner Reminds Followers Of Her Engaged Status

Amid her many health difficulties, Cori previously opted to focus on the good things in her life, including her recent engagement to Deuce. The Blast noted that the "Do My Thang" singer posted a ten-second clip of herself in a white blouse which she paired with a yellow floral headwrap and a necklace on social media.

Cori seemed to be in the zone as the sun highlighted her clear skin, and she swayed to the song playing from the car's stereo. At some point, she put up her left hand to showcase the massive diamond ring on her engagement finger.

The bride-to-be reminded viewers that she was "Soon to be Mrs. POLK" in the caption. It would not be the first time Cori would emphasize her new status as she uploaded multiple photos of her and Deuce looking happy and in love to her Story following the engagement.

One of the MTV Video Music Award nominee's most recent posts included four photos of her and Deuce making unique postures alongside the caption, "Mr. and Mrs. coming soon💍🖤."
