Model Ireland Baldwin couldn't wait to spill the beans on the name of her first child!

The 27-year-old daughter of actor Alec Baldwin and actress Kim Basinger is expecting her first child with her longtime boyfriend, RAC, born André Allen Anjos. The two are working on opening up a shop called Good Times right on the beach in Gearhart, Oregon.

Although the mom-to-be has previously opened up about her pregnancy struggles, it sounds like she is nothing but excited to continue her journey into motherhood.

Earlier this week, the aspiring screenwriter appeared on the Girlboss Radio podcast, where she talked about what she was looking forward to the most about becoming a mom for the first time.

"What I'm most excited about is really more centered around a lot of things I really wanted in terms of stability as a child myself that I didn't have," Ireland said. "What's kind of exciting is I get to raise this little human and do things completely differently than what I was taught was the norm."

"It's cool that I get to unconditionally love this person and do my best to make her as equipped for this world and bada** as possible,” she added.

The conversation eventually shifted into a talk about baby names, which Ireland seemed only too happy to divulge. "We're naming her Holland. I'm Ireland, so another country name because we wanted to keep that consistent," Ireland replied.

However, that wasn’t the only reason that Ireland decided to name her baby after the country. “And then I love the actress Holland Taylor,” Ireland added. “I've always loved that name since I was young, I just thought that was such a classy, beautiful name, so we're going with Holland."

Actress Holland Taylor, 80, won a Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for her role as Judge Roberta Kittleson on ABC's “The Practice” in 1999. She also portrayed Evelyn Harper on the CBS comedy “Two and a Half Men,” which earned her four Emmy nominations.

She also appeared in the films “Romancing the Stone” in 1984, “George of the Jungle,” in 1997, “The Truman Show” in 1998, “Happy Accidents” in 2000, “Legally Blonde” in 2001, and “Bill & Ted Face the Music” in 2020. She also wore and starred in the one-woman play “Ann,” based on the life of Ann Richard, which earned her a Tony Award nomination for Best Actress.

Last month, Ireland took to Instagram to open up to her followers about the physical and emotional changes she was going through during her first pregnancy. In the caption, Ireland wrote, “This sh*t is HARD. And you’re not alone if you feel the same. And it’s ok to be REAL and post highlight reels. It’s ok to be happy and sad at the same time. I am grateful but I am struggling and that’s perfectly ok.”

In a six-slide post, Ireland admitted that she has “struggled to adapt to these changes. Bodily sensations. Pains and aches. Organs going to sh*t randomly. I know everyone has an entirely different experience and mine is easy compared to most, but f*ck it’s a struggle. It’s so hard to have so much pressure on yourself.”

“Forget the physical aspect…I feel my brain and thoughts are going to war every single day. Mental warfare. ‘Just wait till the baby gets here, you won’t be getting any sleep’ b*tch, I don’t sleep now,” she went on. “SHUT UP. I’m exhausted. I’m unmotivated. I feel like life is passing by and my career hasn’t even begun.”

“This sh*t is hard. When people expect you to be glowing and angelic and in a constant state of bliss.. it’s unrealistic sometimes. I’m a goblin. A bridge troll. A curmudgeon,” she went on. “The glow is my skincare routine. It couldn’t be the vomiting 6x a day.”

“It’s hard not being really close to family to begin with because they live far or are idiots that I want nothing to do with,” she continued. “It’s hard seeing other people go through and have their parents close by.”

It's not clear if she's referencing her father, Alec Baldwin, who was recently formally charged with two counts of involuntary manslaughter in the death of Halyna Hutchins on the set of the Western film "Rust" in October 2021.
