“Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Erika Jayne‘s costar Lisa Rinna say the reality star is set to spill all the tea about her divorce from Thomas Girardi and the embezzlement lawsuit they are facing together.
Over the weekend, Erika posted another glamour shot on her Instagram. She looked flawless while wearing a red power suit with a full-business hairdo. She is clearly filming a confessional for the Bravo show with the green screen visible in the background.
Erika didn’t provide any substance to her photo but Lisa commented, “You better believe she’s going to talk about it.” The comment was first reported by the Instagram account, Comments By Bravo.
Lisa Rinna appears to have deleted the comment and replaced it with the more generic “YESSSSSS♥️” A bunch of Erika’s friends left behind a bunch of fire and heart-eyed emojis to show their love of the photo.
In the past couple of weeks, Erika has remained extremely silent amid the growing controversy surrounding her. Fans have been slowly turning on her after hearing accusations she helped embezzle money from families of plane crash victims. They also have questions on whether her divorce is real or a “sham.”
As The Blast previously reported, Erika and her lawyer husband are being accused of using money meant for the families to fund their lavish lifestyle.
The federal lawsuit was brought by the class-action law firm Edelson PC, who is representing a bunch of Boeing plane crash victims who won a settlement while being represented by Thomas. They say they did not receive the full payment and believe Thomas sent the money to Erika’s company to keep it from the families.
The suit read, “Tom has resorted to embezzling the proceeds of settlements that should have been directed to his clients—including, as the basis for this Complaint, the widows and orphans who lost loved ones in the tragic crash of Lion Air Flight 610—in order to continue funding his and Erika’s lavish Beverly Hills lifestyles.”
The suit says Erika and her husband decided to embezzle the money to keep up their image. It said, “To keep up their celebrity status, Tom and Erika must project a public image of obscene wealth at all times, and at whatever the cost.” Erika and Thomas have yet to respond to the lawsuit.
Earlier this month, Thomas was hit with a separate $800,000 legal battle accusing him of owing a bunch of money.
Thomas and his law firm Girardi Keese are being sued by Wells Fargo Vendor Financial Services. Wells Fargo accuses Thomas of breach of written agreement and conversion. The suit says Erika’s estranged husband’s law firm entered into a lease agreement where they agreed to finance the lease of certain office equipment.
Wells Fargo says Thomas breached the agreements when they stop making the monthly payments in July and August. Wells Fargo says the total amount owed immediately is $882,715.51, along with interest at the rate of 10% per annum from the date of default.
The bank wants to seize all the items from Thomas’s office immediately. He has yet to respond to the lawsuit.
