It definitely is a rough time for Hilaria Baldwin and her family, especially her husband, Alec Baldwin.

On January 19, the Santa Fe District Attorney announced that the "30 Rock" actor and “Rust” armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed were each formally charged in the death of “Rust” cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.

Ahead of their formal charging on January 31, the yoga instructor took to her new podcast, Witches Anonymous, to talk about how difficult the charges have been for her and her family.

Shortly after the charges were first announced last week, Hilaria stepped out wearing a green sweatshirt with the words "EMPATHY" printed on the front in bold, capital letters. She paired the look with faux leather leggings and slide-on sandals that featured pearl accents across the top.

In this week's episode of her new podcast, the mom-of-seven talked about how she might "crumble" if she didn't have the support of her fans. According to the episode description:

“Hilaria shares her emotions and gratitude for all the support her family has received. Dr. Hillary Goldsher joins Hilaria and Michelle to discuss parenting through challenging times and how to take care of not only your kids but yourself during them.”

At the beginning of the episode, the Boston native thanked those who were tuning in for the support the Baldwin family has received in light of the involuntary manslaughter charges her husband is now facing.

“It’s been an emotional time for my family and I do so want to express to you how grateful I am for your support and your kindness and your reason,” she began. “Quite honestly, I think without it, we would crumble, so thank you so much for being our rock right now because I don’t feel so strong.”

Shortly after her podcast episode went up, Hilaria took to Instagram to share a photo of Alec lying on the floor. His kids are piled on top of him or lying at his side. Hilaria is holding onto their newborn, with a baseball cap covering her face.

“I hope you understand how much your support and kindness to Alec and our children mean. Thank you for being our community and our village. You are helping us to be stronger parents and partners during this unimaginable time, stemming from such heartbreaking tragedy,” she wrote. “Please know that I hear all of your outspoken words and each and every one of you reminds me daily that there is kindness in the world and we are not alone.”

Alec Baldwin Could Face Years Behind Bars If Convicted

Considering that the couple just welcomed their seventh child together in September, both are hoping that Alec will not have to face any jail time. Both the "Beetlejuice" actor and the "Rust" armorer are facing two counts of involuntary manslaughter in Halyna Hutchins’ death. First assistant director Dave Halls pled guilty to the charge of the negligent use of a deadly weapon and will face probation.

The first charge is a fourth-degree felony, which can result in a maximum eighteen-month prison sentence and a five thousand dollar fine. The second charge, an involuntary manslaughter in the commission of a lawful act charge, carries an additional firearm enhancement. This means that each of them could face up to five years in prison if convicted.

A statement released by Alec Baldwin's lawyer, Lukas Nikas, said, “This decision distorts Halyna Hutchins’ tragic death and represents a terrible miscarriage of justice. Mr. Baldwin had no reason to believe there was a live bullet in the gun — or anywhere on the movie set.”

“He relied on the professionals with whom he worked, who assured him the gun did not have live rounds,” Nikas continued. “We will fight these charges, and we will win.”

The lawyer for Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, Jason Bowles, also released a statement, saying, “Hannah is, and has always been, very emotional and sad about this tragic accident. But she did not commit involuntary manslaughter.”

“These charges are the result of a very flawed investigation, and an inaccurate understanding of the full facts,” Bowles added. “We intend to bring the full truth to light and believe Hannah will be exonerated of wrongdoing by a jury.”

In a recent Instagram post after the charges were announced, Alec shared a photo of his son, Leo, 6, massaging Hilaria's shoulders.

In an edited caption, Alec wrote, “The old ‘let me give you a back rub’ ploy. Potato chips to follow.” In the comments, he admitted that he had edited the caption because some users felt the original caption was too "suggestive."

“I adjusted the text," Alec wrote in the comments. "I guess because…you know…there is so much of that Reddit trash out there.” Still, it did little to appease Instagram users.

“Imagine being indicted for involuntary manslaughter and the first post you make after the announcement includes a picture of your attention-seeking wife, posed with your young son, and captioned with a sexually suggestive innuendo,” one user commented.
