Shawn Johnson and her husband were clad in camo and ballistics gear for their trip to Fort Bragg this week when they met up with Green Berets from the U.S. Army Special Forces Command for The Special Forces Charitable Trust, which is a non-profit that raises money for Green Berets and their families.

Johnson and her former NFL star husband were joined by fellow celebrities, including country music singers Chuck Wicks and Lee Brice, UFC legend Randy Couture, MMA star Dan Henderson and former “Bachelorette” finalist Shawn Booth.

For the challenge, each celebrity teamed up with two Green Berets for a series of skill-based shooting challenges on Fort Bragg's gun range.

28-year-old Johnson was seen firing off rounds from a large-caliber rifle while her Green Beret teammates carefully watched on. The retired gymnast later shared her feelings about participating in the event.

"Being able to work along side and be taught by the best there is has truly been an honor. On top of that though, being able to hear their stories, meet their families, and get to know them personally has made this experience so much more rewarding," Johnson wrote on Instagram alongside a series of photos.

The tactical challenge was reportedly filmed by a TV crew and will be aired in 2021, and it's clear the celebs had a great time training alongside the best combat operators in the world.

One of the most excited celebrities was country superstar Chuck Wicks. The "Old With You" singer took to Instagram to share his experience while showing off some pretty rad photos of himself in action.

"After spending 2 days with the #GreenBerets I’m completely humbled and very proud to be an American. Watching the best of the best do their thing and then getting the opportunity to learn from them was an experience of a lifetime," Wicks wrote.
