Lil’ Wayne has just pled guilty to carrying a loaded gun on his private jet, and is now facing several years behind bars!
The ‘Lollipop’ rapper just appeared in a federal court in Miami, Florida where it was revealed he has struck a plea deal with prosecutors over his felony gun case.
As we reported, the rapper whose legal name is Dwayne Michael Carter Jr. was charted in November after the feds claim they got an anonymous lead to search his private jet as in landed in Miami, Florida.

After boarding his aircraft, Wayne reportedly told officers he had a gun in his bag. At the time, they claim after getting a search warrant they discovered a “gold-plated Remington 1911 .45 caliber handgun.” Plus, it was loaded with six rounds of ammunition.
Shockingly, prosecutors claimd Lil Wayne’s bag also contained “personal use amounts of cocaine, ecstasy, and oxycodone.”
According to reports, while searching the plane it “was readily apparent” that the legendary rapper was “was under the influence of illicit narcotics based on his delayed speech and partially closed eyes.” As we said, while being questioned, Wayne admitted to having the firearm, saying, “there is a gold-plated Glock” firearm inside his book bag which he said was given to him as a Father’s Day gift.
There’s More…
Lil’ Wayne reportedly appeared remotely to the criminal case hearing, where he told the judge, “Your honor, I plead guilty.” Carter is facing up to 10 years in federal prison for the charges, although it is expected he will get some leniency due to his taking full responsibility.
The problem is that most cases of this nature wind up in some sort of plea agreement, normally packed with time behind bars. Keep in mind, Weezy was convicted of a felony gun charge in NY back in 2009. Sentencing, in this case, is set for January 28 and the amount of time in prison will be ultimately up to the judge.

The good news, as we reported, it appears Lil’ Wayne is back together with his girlfriend Denise Bidot and will have a solid support system behind him when he is sentenced.
We obtained photos of the couple attending Weezy’s daughter, Reginae Carter’s birthday party where the newly reconciled couple kissed in front of the packed crowd. Interestingly, the couple reportedly had issues after the rapper publically endorsed President Donald Trump, and posted a photo on his Twitter after meeting him at the White House.
Could Wayne be on the list of Presidential Pardons?
We will see!
