‘Southern Charm’ Thomas Ravenel Reveals Son’s Devastating Diagnosis, Bashes Ex Kathryn Dennis For ‘Drinking’ While Pregnant

The messy custody saga continues between “Southern Charm” exes Thomas Ravenel and Kathryn Dennis. The latest being Ravenel accusing Dennis of drinking heavily while pregnant with their son Saint, 5. 

This has apparently led to a diagnosis of Fetal Alcohol Syndrome (FAS). In the court filings the scathing details came out. Ravenel states that his son had a previous diagnosis of the syndrome due to Dennis’ “drug and alcohol consumption”. 

The documents went into more detail with Ravenel claiming he had to send Saint to “speech and occupational therapy for years to help combat his delays, but he is still falling behind at school.”

The former politician did not stop there he also claimed that Dennis is not aiding him in getting the required work done to help Saint rise above the devastating diagnosis. Ravenel claimed that Saint’s teachers gave them separate folders with extra work for their son to do at each parent’s house but apparently the “mom folder” has “never been touched”. 

The former “Southern Charm” cast member also went into detail about the upcoming months for Saint and the fact that he is worried about Dennis doing her part.

Dennis and Ravenel have been in a custody battle for some time now however, last November, a long year after Dennis initially filed for sole custody of their kids. At the time, Ravenel was recently arrested for assaulting the kid's now-former nanny Dawn. 

The case ended in Ravenel pleading guilty to third-degree assault and battery and spent no time behind bars. He then went on to get full custody of Saint and their daughter Kensington, 6 and Dennis would be assisted by a nanny paid for by Ravenel.

Unfortunately, for Dennis, her exes have banned together against her. Another former ex Joseph Abruzzo testified in court about Dennis’s excessive drinking in the presence of her kids. He also alleged that the reality star is a neglectful parent. 

Dennis has long been a controversial reality star for hooking up with Ravenel with a large age difference. She had two children out of wedlock which shocked some of her southern counterparts, and she allegedly slept with a few of her castmates including Whitney Sudler-Smith and Shep Rose.

This season on the popular Bravo show, Dennis is dealing with a whole new bag of drama. During the pandemic, the 29-year-old was accused of not only being tone-deaf but racist when a text conversation was leaked between her and local radio host. 

Dennis used the monkey emoji in the conversation which led to insinuations that she was calling the host money. Unfortunately, for her, the host happens to be African American and the emoji was seen as a racial slur. Fans are now seeing this drama play out on TV.
