After Stewart shared the photos of herself, a ton of fans took to social media to express their thoughts on how flawless the octogenarian looked. A fan penned, "You're in denial Martha Stewart! You've had so much work done it is a joke."

Another fan said, "All good.! Don't misrepresent the reality of aging! Define gracefully… nothing wrong with transparency! You look wonderful….just saying it isn't authentic….call it as it is!"

One annoyed fan noted, "You set the expectations and examples of what women should look like as they age. This is both dangerous and damaging to our youth. This is not natural beauty at 81 years of age. Grow up!"

The author of Living the Good Long Life recently disclosed what she does that helps her stay young and maintain her vibrance.

In a chat with Yahoo Life!, Stewart revealed that she has an agreement with her friends that helps prevent her from "acting like an old lady" as she ages and also helps to preserve her youthfulness.

"I have an agreement, all of us, all my friends, we have an agreement where if we start to act like a little old lady and don't care about what our house looks like, or it smells or anything, we get killed," she said. "We get killed, just finished."

She continued, "I'm not going to start living badly just because I'm getting older... Once you've lived well, you always should live well."

Stewart also pointed out that her regular visits to the gym, a healthy eating culture, and spending time with her loved ones are the other reasons why she still looks young and full of life.
