Catelyn Lowell has just revealed she suffered a heartbreaking miscarriage over the Thanksgiving holiday.
The ‘Teen Mom’ star broke her silence on the devastating situation after announcing she was preparing to go public with the exciting pregnancy news. Instead, the reality star was forced to reveal the brutal details regarding the loss of her baby.
Catelynn shared the information on Instagram, along with a photo of the positive pregnancy test and pictures of her and her husband, Tyler Baltierra.

“I WAS Pregnant and excited to share it with all of you and I am heartbroken to reveal that I lost the baby. I am sharing this to let you know you are not alone. We are all in this together and everyone experiences pain, loss, and the recovery from it and I am still in the thick of dealing with this loss as it was recent and all the emotional trauma that follows such a loss in an already horrifically hard year,” Lowell wrote.
She continued, “Thank you in advance for your prayers, love, and support. Know that I’m there for you and care as much as you guys are there to support me. I opened up about this only to help those who are experiencing the same thing to know that there’s someone else every day experiencing this. This was painful to share… but again, you’re not alone ??.”

In an interview with Champion Daily, Catelynn revealed the brutal details surrounding the tragic event.
“About 3 days before Thanksgiving we found out we were expecting. We were soooo excited! We didn’t tell Nova because we wanted to wait a while,” she told the outlet.
Adding, “I took like 6 different pregnancy tests to make sure!” As we said, she decided to share a picture of one of the tests with her millions of followers on Instagram.
Tragically, she says, “On thanksgiving 2020 I started bleeding. No matter what, I believe that when a woman sees a positive test you automatically start getting excited… all of that came crashing down. We lost the baby.”

“I was overwhelmed by sadness and felt my emotions,” she explained.
While trying to deal with such a painful loss, Catelynn said she knew that the child was now watching over her family. “I know that when the time it right it will happen and everything in life has a plan and a destiny. Now we have two beautiful angels watching over us and our children,” she said.
Adding, “One day I know I will witness those angels and get to spend eternity with them.”
Catelynn Lowell and her husband have starred on several seasons of ‘Teen Mom’ — including the first one where they chronicled giving their firstborn up for adoption. The ’16 and Pregnant’ alum now share daughters Novalee, 5, and Vaeda, 21 months.
