Lori Loughlin‘s daughter Olivia Jade was torn to shreds by Jada Pinkett Smith‘s mother Adrienne “Gam “Banfield-Jones during her chat on Red Table Talk which is the start of her redemption media tour.
The 21-year-old Instagram influencer is on a mission to regain her reputation and start making her money again after losing it all for being a spoiled rich kid whose parents broke the law.
Olivia Jade has lived a life of privilege for her entire life. She was born into a wealthy family with her mother being a famous actress and her father, Mossimo Giannulli, being a successful fashion designer.
I really wonder if anyone has ever spoken to Olivia Jade like this before pic.twitter.com/kkFYc4I5Qh

After Olivia graduated from high school, Lori and Mossimo decided to pay $500,000 in bribes to a USC coach in order to get their daughters into the school. They devised a plan to have Olivia apply to be a part of the competitive rowing team, even though she had no interest in actually participating.
For her application, Olivia even posed for a photo of her on a rowing machine to finish off the scam. Lori and Mossimo were sentenced to months in prison for their roles in the admission scandal.

Olivia has never admitted she had any knowledge of the plot. She was never charged for any crime but did leave USC in the wake of the scandal. Now that the criminal case is over it appears Olivia is ready to ask for forgiveness and clean up her tarnished public image.
She thought the best choice would be to call up Jada Pinkett Smith, Willow Smith, and Adrienne Banfield-Jones and ask to appear on their Facebook show “Red Table Talk”.
At the start of the episode, Jada talks about the debate they all had before agreeing to have Olivia on the show. Adrienne aka Gam got real about the situation saying she wanted nothing to do with Olivia nor did she think they should be providing her a platform.
Gam said, ” I fought it tooth and nail. I just found it really ironic that she chose three black women to reach out to for her redemption story. I feel like here we are, white women, calling up black women for support when we don’t get the same from them. It’s bothersome to me on so many levels. Her being here is the epitome of white privilege to me.”
Jada told her mom she heard her position but, “I never want to be the thing that was done to me by white women. I feel like these are the kind of attitudes that feed the kind of things we are fighting.”
She added, “It’s like people like at us, and say you’re black and you’re female, and they put us in a category.”
She said, “looking at her as being white young and privileged and putting her in a category, it’s the same thing.” Gam replied, “it’s not our responsibility to raise her consciousness”

Jada said she felt allowing Olivia to have a stage is an act of “compassion.” She said Olivia’s story reminded her of her own kids, Willow and Jada. Gam didn’t agree with that saying it didn’t remind her of her grandchildren at all.
Gam even called into question whether Olivia knew about her parent’s scheme or not. She said, “At the end of the day I really feel like she’s gonna be okay. She’s going to recover whether her ass was sitting at this table or not.” Jada argued privilege doesn’t exempt you from troubles in life.
Olivia then appeared at the red table with the ladies. She said she was excited to “address some things.” Within minutes, Olivia was saying she felt she deserved forgiveness from people. She admitted her family made mistakes but she didn’t want to be shamed for it.
After her parent’s arrest, Olivia said she lost brand deals and followers. Olivia said she didn’t understand her privilege prior to the scandal. She feels the public perception of her is not accurate.
Olivia said she is not some spoiled brat who didn’t get why people were mad at her. She admits growing up in a bubble of wealthy kids. Lori’s daughter said she didn’t think there was anything wrong with her parents paying the bribes until later on after catching heat.
"I'm exhausted with everything we have to deal with as a community and I just don't have the energy to put into the fact that you lost your endorsements." -Adrienne Banfield-Jones to Olivia Jade #RedTableTalk

During the chat, Gam asked “Let me ask you if you have a clear understanding of what white privilege really is, now,” Olivia claimed to understand what it meant. She said she took her life “for granted. It was a big shift in my head knowing, ‘OK, let’s start recognizing where the wrongs are in that,”
Gam pressed Olivia asking her, “Do you understand why different people in the community would be upset? Do you have any understanding of why I would be upset at your being here and what you all did and the harm that it caused?”
Olivia replied, “I would also love to hear it from you. I feel like it’s a good learning thing. We had the means to do something and we completely took it and ran with it. It really cannot be excused, on paper it’s bad.”
The majority of people appear to be rolling their eyes at Olivia Jade’s interview.
One person wrote, “Thank God for gammy, she kept things real. How that cheater should be thankful she made it to the RTT. If not for reading comments first about Tammy’s intervention I would have skipped over the entire episode???,” said one viewer who backed Gam.
“If Olivia Jade tries to “make a comeback” after this Red Table Talk i will cyber bully her. I dont even care. Not when black mothers are being thrown in jail for wanting to put their kids in a better school. I will cyber bully her. With no shame.,” threatened one person.
Jada’s mom ate her up as she should! I don’t give a damn what Olivia jade has to say.
