Rebel Wilson Calls Girlfriend Her 'Forever Disney Princess' On Birthday

Rebel Wilson is showering her girlfriend, Ramona Agruma, with lots of love on her big day!

The "Pitch Perfect" actress broke up with Jacob Busch in February, and four months later, she made media headlines when she debuted her romance with Agruma. 

However, since the announcement, she has been lowkey about her blossoming relationship with the fashion and jewelry designer. But, in a recent update, Wilson fired up her Instagram Story to commemorate her girlfriend turning a year old.

On Saturday, the "Senior Year" actress celebrated her girlfriend's 39th birthday with a string of snapshots featuring herself and her ladylove cuddling up. 

Over a photo of the lovebirds standing in front of a shop at night time, Wilson gushed about her lover, writing, "Happy Birthday @ramonaagruma You've brought so much magic into my life." The duo twinned in white tracksuits, and both had a blue ID card rope around their neck.

Ramona paired her outfit with a pink ugg boot and a blue bag worn over her shoulder. On the other hand, the Australian native opted for a black handbag and cream sports shoes.

A second picture, where the duo embraced themselves firmly in a well-decorated dining room with a crystal chandelier, was captioned, "You're the cutest @ramonaagruma." The 42-year-old donned a pink gown and white gold-covered shoes while the celebrant slipped into a white flowy ruffle dress. Both of them left their blond hair to freefall to their shoulders.

The third snapshot showed the couple rocking matching white and green ensembles and sunglasses at the beach. They sat in front of a wooden table with items placed delicately on it. Agruma placed her left hand on her girlfriend's thigh and smiled. Wilson held up a glass with a spoon to scoop the content in her mouth. "BIRTHDAY GIRL" was written across the post.

In a picture of the sweethearts enjoying a churro, the "Bridesmaids" actress gushed that the 39-year-old was "My Disney Princess forever"- a phrase she used when she announced their romance to the public.

Thinking back to when Wilson stunned fans with the debut of her new girlfriend brings to mind the genuine support she garnered from the internet for coming out of the closet. In June, The Blast reported how the "A Few Best Men" actress finally felt comfortable enough to open up about her sexuality.

On that particular day, she posted a photo of herself and her belle smiling together on Instagram with the caption that read, "I thought I was searching for a Disney Prince… but maybe what I really needed all this time was a Disney Princess ???#loveislove."

As expected, fans and famous friends  swooned over the positive revelation and gave Wilson plenty of support, with Montana Brown commenting, "Love you so much ❤️ lovely people you are ?."

Mark Hapka wrote, "Love you both so much!!!❤️❤️❤️" while Arielle Kebbel commented, "❤️ ? so happy for you both!" Carly Steel wrote, "Gorgeous couple & dynamic duo. Love you guys ???"

Agruma's birthday comes days after the couple was subjected to intense backlash for attending the grand opening of Atlantis The Royal Hotel to watch Beyonce perform.

Despite having a noble reason to be in the city of Dubai, fans berated the adorable pair, amongst other celebrities, for their attendance at the lavish occasion. The Blast noted that fans were furious about the same-sex couple having a good time in a city that had laws against the LGBTQ+ community and declared a revocation of her gay card.

The TV personality shared a video montage of her fantastic experiences with her significant other on their tourist visit, showing off their exciting demeanor and playful show of affection throughout the clip. Similarly, she gushed about her experience in the caption by writing, "Atlantis The Royal is BEYond! What a weekend with BEY!"

Clearly, from the post, the blonde duo was not harming a soul, as they had the best time. Still, several people met their lovey-dovey posts with disapproval and expressed disappointment over her decision to promote a country with no tolerance for the LGBTQ+ community.

An outraged fan wrote, "Aren't you a member of the LGBTQ+ community? The hypocrisy of it all." Another person penned, "Hypocrisy at its best @rebelwilson. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I thought you would be aware of the laws against us there."

"Oh, the privilege. What about other LGBTQ people," someone rhetorically asked while another person sarcastically penned, "strange place to go and promote when you're in a same-sex relationship."
