Tributes are pouring in for Annie Wersching shortly after news broke of her death.

Although she was still making her way up the Hollywood ladder, a Wersching appearance in any show — whether as a main character or guest, meant an elevation in the acting. Wersching was best known for her work on television series such as "Bosch," "24," "Dallas," "Partners," "General Hospital," The Vampire Diaries," and "Timeless." Her publicist confirmed that she died of cancer in the early hours of Sunday morning at 45.

The summation for anybody who has ever worked with Wersching would be how dedicated she was. In fact, the late star was so focused on giving her best that she continued to work on Hollywood projects after she was diagnosed with unknown cancer in 2020.

Between then and now, she appeared in the second season of "Star Trek: Picard" and "The Rookie." In the wake of her passing, Wersching's husband, Stephen Full, issued a statement reading:

"There is a cavernous hole in the soul of this family today. But she left us the tools to fill it. She found wonder in the simplest moment. She didn't require music to dance. She taught us not to wait for adventure to find you. 'Go find it. It's everywhere.' And find it we shall."

Full stated that whenever he drove their kids – Freddie and Ozzie – down "the winding driveway and street, she would yell BYE! until we were out of earshot and into the world. I can still hear it ringing. Bye my Buddie. 'I love you little family…' "

Per Deadline, Jon Cassar — the executive producer and director of "24" — also shared a tribute, which began, "My heart is broken in more pieces than I can count. Annie came into my world with an open heart and a contagious smile. Brandishing such talent, she took my breath away."

The 64-year-old added that the "NCIS" guest star would be "truly missed" by those who have worked with her and the fans she "always found time to interact with." "Annie you'll be missed, you left your mark, and we're all the better for it," Cassar concluded his tribute.
