Tom Brady Reportedly STRUGGLING After Split From Gisele Bündchen, Has Lost 15 Pounds!

NFL star Tom Brady has not had the best time since divorcing his wife of 13 years, Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bündchen. The couple announced their separation in October last year after facing a plethora of issues centered on the athlete's return to the NFL field.

Bündchen has seemingly moved on since then, judging from her numerous fun outings with her jiu-jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente. The supermodel is also back to modeling and appeared in a Louis Vuitton campaign earlier this year.

Brady, on his end, recently suffered a terrible loss to the Dallas Cowboys during the NFL playoffs. Recent reports also claim that the quarterback has been having issues focusing mentally since his divorce and has lost a significant amount of weight in the past weeks.

While Bündchen seems to be flourishing post-divorce, the same can't be said for Brady. Since the split late last year, the NFL quarterback has reportedly dropped 15 pounds and allegedly struggles with mental focus. Bündchen, however, seems to have moved on with her jiu-jitsu instructor Valente and is back to modeling.

Brady and his squad, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, previously experienced an embarrassing loss during the NFL playoffs against the Dallas Cowboys. Jeff Darlington, an ESPN NFL reporter via Page Six, stated that the athlete was facing significant struggles since calling off his marriage to Bündchen.

"There is no doubt the offense never clicked … but Brady also knows his own mental focus was gone for a bulk of the season," the reporter said in a clip on Thursday. Darlington also talked about Brady's significant weight loss since his divorce.

"His physical stature, faced with 15 pounds of weight loss, was also in peril," he added. 

RadarOnline previously reported that Bündchen was "mocking" how Brady played when the Dallas Cowboys beat his NFL team, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, out of the NFL playoffs. A source claimed that the Brazilian model had warned Brady prior to the divorce that he was too old to play, and now she had the "last laugh."

"Gisele was mocking the way Tom played after his team was beaten by the Dallas Cowboys," they said. "She'd told him he was too old to play anymore, and his decision to come back for another season was the reason she dumped him."

"Now she's gotten that last laugh," the insider added. "She's really rubbing his nose in it. She wants Tom to know she thinks he did her wrong — and their two kids — wrong."

Just days after they announced their finalized divorce in October last year, Bündchen was spotted with her jiu-jitsu instructor Valente on a Costa Rica getaway with her two children. They have since been seen on several other outings, one of which featured them going on a sweaty jog together.

Bündchen and Valente were most recently seen riding horses together while the model had a huge smile on her face. Neither of them has posted anything to confirm their relationship status. 

Although it's been previously stated that they had a "strictly professional" relationship, the duo were recently described as very close with a special bond, according to a People magazine report. 

Brady's decision to return to the NFL reportedly led to the dissolution of his 13 years of marriage to Bündchen. The athlete had previously announced his retirement; however, just weeks after, he made his way back to the field. This act of backtracking by Brady allegedly made Bündchen feel betrayed because he had promised to devote more time to their family.

An insider reportedly said, "Gisele was furious. He had promised her he would finally devote time to her and the kids. She felt lied to and abandoned. That was the end of their marriage!"

Bündchen filed for divorce from Brady on October 28, and the couple finalized the split that same day. Shortly after, the model purchased a mansion worth $11.5 million directly across from the quarterback's Miami home. A source via RadarOnline claimed, "Gisele is hitting Tom with an all-out blitz of embarrassments to make him realize he made the wrong call by returning to football."
