Britney Spears Returns To Instagram After Fans Called The Cops

Singer Britney Spears is back on Instagram less than a week after she deactivated her account.

On Tuesday night, the "Hold Me Closer" singer decided to deactivate her social media account, which is something she has done several times in the past year. However, several concerned fans decided to call the police and request a welfare check.

On Thursday afternoon, the 41-year-old pop star took to Twitter to ask fans to request her privacy. On Saturday afternoon, it looked like Britney decided to bring her Instagram account back online, although she hasn't made any new posts at the time of this writing.

In a brief Twitter message posted on Thursday afternoon, the "Break the Ice" singer addressed the incident and said that police showed up at her gate but did not come inside. Regardless, sources say that law enforcement officials showed up at the home around 11 PM, which must have unnerved Britney a great deal.

“As everyone knows the police were called to my home based on some prank phone calls. I love and adore my fans but this time things went a little too far and my privacy was invaded," Britney wrote. "The police never entered my home and when they came to my gate they quickly realized there was no issue and left immediately.”

“This felt like I was being gaslit and bullied once the incident made it to the news and being portrayed once again in a poor and unfair light by the media," she continued. "During this time in my life, I truly hope the public and my fans who I care so much about can respect my privacy moving forward.”

Believe it or not, the "Oops!...I Did It Again" singer actually came back online on Wednesday night, shared this post on Instagram, and then deactivated her account almost immediately, so many fans didn't get a chance to see it.

Britney shared a photo of a Porsche 911 991 Carrera S coupe, which was presented at the IAA International Motor Show on September 20, 2015, in Frankfurt, Germany. It's unclear why Britney liked this car to use it as a photo for her message, but as she wrote in her caption, "I just like the car."

"Hi 👋🏻 !!! Where are we going ??? I just like the car 🚗 period !!!" Britney wrote. "This safe calm down civilized individual thing I dig !!! This shameless fishing for compliments thing is a safe bet … I mean am I supposed to trust the person beside me to shoot me 📸 !!!"

"Finding my first ring light is not only cold it be ice y’all 😤😤😤‼️‼️‼️" she continued. "Where are my skis cause I’m going naked ⛷️🎿 !!! Just kidding 😂😂😂 !!! Rational people … I had one of these and it disappeared !!!"

It looks like Britney then tried to address the Instagram incident, writing, "I could sit back and be like MOST and not give anyone anything to think about on Instagram … but interest is what serves most and being good !!! And being good can and will wrap things up in a seashell 🐚 !!! Living the lavida loco life !!!"

"It’s been a while and yepper skepper depper doba du dom day !!! It gets better because that’s what I aim for !!!" she continued. "Keep coughing playas and just rememeber to watch your back 😌😌😌 !!! Or you might just get caught !!!"

Britney then referenced a previous encounter at a Jack In The Box fast food restaurant when an employee saw her crying from her car in the drive-thru window and told her that it was "gonna be okay."

"Yep sucks to be me 😩😩😩 !!! But like the man said at Jack In the Box !!! It’s gonna be ok !!! Clap back 21 times … then kiss my f**king a** 😘😘😘 !!!" Britney wrote. "Psss !!! Split the banana because we all move on !!!"

"Keep talking sh*t or maybe it will just rain from the sky !!! Giving someone I love my everything only gives me the dagger in the heart !!!" she concluded. "So at this point … I generously serve you my sh*t … eat my sh*t 💩💩💩 !!! Psss !!! Keep coughing !!!"
