Dennis Quaid Scores Rare 'Reagan' Item On 'Pawn Stars'

Dennis Quaid is totally immersing himself into the role of Ronald Reagan for the upcoming movie bearing the name of the famed 40th President of the United States, and now he's got a piece of memorabilia that actually belonged to The Gipper after hatching a deal with Rick Harrison from "Pawn Stars." The "Any Given Sunday" star recently took a break from filming his newest project, "Reagan," and headed to downtown Las Vegas to check out the newest destination in the desert, Circa Resort & Casino.

Dennis Quaid, along with "Reagan" producer Mark Joseph, took a break from production this week to check out the brand new Circa Resort & Casino. We're told the two dined at Barry's Downtown Prime and also met up with Las Vegas legend Rick Harrison to film a very special segment for an upcoming episode of "Pawn Stars."

Harrison, who owns the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop, wanted to show Quaid some impressive Ronald Reagan memorabilia that he thought the actor would be interested in acquiring.

We're told Chef Barry Dakake gave the stars the presidential treatment by serving up some signature oysters and caviar before business got underway.

Sources near the action tell The Blast Quaid checked out several treasures belonging to the late President before entering into negotiations with Harrison over one particular item. In the end, we're told Quaid scored the item for "thousands of dollars," but our source wouldn't give out exact numbers until the episode airs next year.

After the "Pawn Stars" taping wrapped, Dennis Quaid met up with Circa Resort CEO/Owner Derek Stevens for a personal tour of the state-of-the-art property. We're told they also checked out some scenes from Quaid's upcoming movie, and that he "knocks it out of the park" as Ronald Reagan.

"Reagan," starring Dennis Quaid and Penelope Ann Miller as Nancy Reagan, will premiere in 2021.
