'RHOC' Star Kelly Dodd Reacts to Shannon Beador And John Janssen's Drama, Talks Wedding

Kelly Dodd weighed in on the relationship challenges Shannon Beador and her boyfriend, John Janssen, faced during the second half of "The Real Housewives of Orange County" season 15 during the December 2 episode of "Watch What Happens Live."

After being asked by host Andy Cohen about whether she believes Shannon and John are "meant to be," and about Shannon's daughter’s suggestion that John isn't meeting Shannon's needs, Kelly said that she spends a lot of time with the couple and loves their relationship.

"I spend a lot of time with Shannon. They live right down the street. I love John and Shannon together. They are best friends. I’ve never seen them fight. I really love them together," Kelly gushed.

That said, Kelly noted that Shannon's current boyfriend is much different than her ex-husband, David Beador, who Kelly said has far more money.

"John doesn’t have the money that [David] Beador had and she’s used to a certain lifestyle, [and] those kids are [too]," she explained.

"They’re used to that. And he does have plenty of money, it’s just not what David has," Kelly continued. "David’s buying houses all over the place, in Park City and all that. To those kids, they grew up differently.”

Shannon began dating John last summer after splitting from David after 17 years of marriage in late 2017. However, fans didn't meet him on "The Real Housewives of Orange County" until season 15 because she didn't confirm their romance publicly until after production on season 14 wrapped.

While it was rumored that Tucker Carlson was in attendance when Kelly and her husband, Rick Leventhal, said, "I do," in California in October, Kelly told Andy that was not the case when asked about the topic on his show.

“Tucker Carlson did not attend our wedding but everyone likes Tucker Carlson. They all think he’s the hottest thing on Earth, but he’s the nicest guy. No, he did not. All my girlfriends are in love with Tucker Carlson,” she explained of the FOX News personality.

While Kelly and Shannon feuded with one another during the 14th season of the reality show, they put their differences aside earlier this year amid filming on the series' 15th season. Since then, they appear to have remained on good terms as they continue to spend time with one another and their significant others in Newport Beach.
