Malik Beasley‘s wife Montana Yao is preparing to divorce the NBA star after photos emerged of him on a date with Larsa Pippen.
The Shade Room broke the story, Montana has hired a divorce lawyer and is getting ready to file the official documents to terminate her marriage to the Minnesota Timberwolves star. She has yet to file the petition in court but will in the near future.
The outlet says a source close to Montana made the decision after seeing the photos of her husband with Scottie Pippen’s ex-wife.
Sources close to Montana say she is “completely devastated and feels as though he was living a double life because there were no signs he was cheating.” The two got hitched this March.
After the photos were published, Montana took to IG to thank her followers for their support during this difficult time. She said, “I’ve always and will forever remain true to whom I am and GOD has never let me down. the truth always comes out one way or another.”
She added, “Appreciate all the love y’all for real” with a praying hand and heart emoji. Montana ended, “Wow…I don’t even know this man…this is wild y’all I’m seeing it for the first time just like y’all.”
The photos in question were taken last month in Miami. Malik and Larsa are seen walking hand-in-hand down the street. They looked extra close in the snaps and didn’t appear to be hiding from anyone.
Larsa has yet to comment on the matter.
Malik has yet to comment on the allegations. Instead of dealing with the situation, the NBA player posted a video of him getting in an extra early workout on his Instagram story. He doesn’t seem fazed by the reports he ruined his marriage.
In the short clip, Malik bounces around while singing along to a track. He looks a bit tired (maybe from reading about himself all night) but he captioned it, “Lets go!!!!” and placed the time stamp of 5:45 am on the video.
As The Blast previously reported, Larsa has been making a lot of waves in the past couple of weeks. She set off the month with a bombshell interview on the Hollywood Raw podcast with Dax Holt and Adam Glynn. She spilled all the tea about Kanye West, Tristan Thompson, and Future.
During the chat, Larsa said she was dating Tristan before he got with Khloe. She said she didn’t mind but wanted to clear the record. She also said Kanye West was “brainwashing” the Kardashian family.
