Social Media Clowns Kanye West's New Yeezy 450 Slides

Kanye West continues to be one of the most dominant artists in the music industry as he's also done an amazing job of launching other business ventures. 

He has his own sneakers at Adidas and also reached a 10-year deal with GAP where the Yeezy GAP apparel line will be launching in the first half of 2021. West also has Yeezy slides with Adidas which have always received mixed reviews. This is now the case for the upcoming pairs as well that will reportedly be released for $65 on December 27.

Kim Kardashian, West's wife, took to her Instagram stories to show off the new Yeezy 450 slides that will be released. These are tan-colored with plenty of holes in them so people's feet can have more air coming in. 

In Kardashian's story caption, she said "Yeezy" as she supported her husband. Obviously, these are very unique and not the standard-looking slides that most people are accustomed to wearing. West has made his Yeezy slides look very unique for different reasons.

Once Kardashian posted the slides to her IG stories, people were thrown off by the design. Many users on Twitter compared these Yeezy 450 slides to different types of food such as potato chips and waffles.

Last year, West also received negative reviews for his previous Yeezy slides which were compared to slippers that inmates wear in jail. Nonetheless though, these slides post huge numbers financially due to the strength of West's name.

Back on July 4, West also announced that he would be running for president in the 2020 election. Things got off to a very rocky start as he missed deadlines to appear on states' ballots. He ended up being kicked off of some as well due to the signatures that he accumulated not being valid. 

When election day finally arrived, West received over 60,000 votes. This was seen as horrible to people as they viewed the votes as wasted votes in a crucial election. West does plan to run in 2024, though.

July was a very busy month for West as he also called out Kardashian and her mother, Kris Jenner. During that time, he also announced that his 10th studio album, "Donda," would be out on July 24. This project was named after his late mother who passed away back in 2007. 

The album did not release on time and after that, West did not provide any new release date. This is still the case at this point as fans ponder when this anticipated album will arrive.
