Sofia Vergara Flaunts Fabulous Cakes With Special Message

Sofia Vergara is serving up something sweet for the holidays and making sure there's a good cause behind the calories. The former "Modern Family" star took to Instagram on Monday following the Thanksgiving holiday, and dropped a video in collaboration with the non-profit organization, Kiva.
"Over these past few months I’ve shared a lot about my partnership with @kiva.org and the amazing work that they do to help small businesses and entrepreneurs through microfinance," the actress wrote to her fans.

"I believe that small businesses are the backbone of many communities around the world and right now so many of them are struggling to recover from the devastating effects of the pandemic," the 48-year-old star explained while showing off a collection of scrumptious-looking cakes from various famous bakeries.
"This holiday season, I wanted to do something to help and you all know how much I love cake ?? so we decided to partner with my favorite local bakeries to launch The Gift of Cake!" She continued.

Sofia Vergara explained how the process works:
"Starting today through December 31st, with every purchase you make of these selected cakes, you will receive a $25 Kiva credit to make a loan to a Kiva borrower who has requested financial assistance due to COVID-19. And a portion of the proceeds from the sale of each cake will directly benefit Kiva."
She added, "I hope that The Gift of Cake will not only make the holidays a bit sweeter but also go a long way in helping Kiva and the many deserving people these loans benefit."

The delicious cakes cover the culinary gambit of sugary treats around the United States. From the famed confetti cake made at New York's Magnolia Bakery, to Sweet Lady Jane's triple berry cake in Los Angeles ... there's a piece of cake waiting for everyone and it's all going towards a good cause.
Sofia Vergara was already racking up some sweet praise from fans for the cake push, with one person commenting, "Your such an motivational speaker & kind hearted woman?? really proud of you, I'm blessed to be your follower."
