Channing Tatum's Thoughts On Sharing His Scandalous Stripper Past With Daughter

Channing Tatum is parenting by the rule of “secrets, secrets are no fun, secrets are for everyone!”
Prior to striking it big in Hollywood, Tatum made money as a stripper in Florida. He got into stripping after dropping out of Glenville State College in West Virginia at 18-years-old.
Tatum stripped under the moniker “Chan Crawford.”

He made his past stripping lifestyle a movie reality in the form of “Magic Mike,” “Magic Mike XXL” and “Magic Mike’s Last Dance.”
Speaking toEntertainment Tonight, the father-of-one was asked if he’ll have a conversation about his past career with his daughter, Everly Elizabeth Maiselle Tatum.

Tatum shares Everly with his ex-wife, Jenna Dewan. She is currently nine-years-old.
He admitted that when she’s “old enough” to watch the “Magic Mike” films he will “have THAT conversation” with her.
Channing Tatum Will Open & Honest About His Stripping Past
Honesty is the best policy in the Tatum household and he plans to be honest with his little one.
“There’s no version of me not having the conversation of ‘Dad didn’t just do them in movies, I was an actual stripper,'” he revealed to ET. “I’m not gonna lie to her.”
Tatum was joined by his ‘MMLD’ co-star, Salma Hayek, during the interview and she shed some light on filming that last installment of the striptease series.
“I remember in one rehearsal he nearly dropped me upside down, head hitting the floor," Hayek recalled.
Tatum recalled it happening differently saying, “It didn't happen, so I don't know what you're talking about. The queen's crown didn't hit the ground!"
Things on set were all good and the actors laughed off Hayek’s near head injury.

"But it came this close, and then he reprimanded me," Hayek added. "We laughed and then he said, 'OK, let's review what we have learned from this experience.' It's hard to remember what you're supposed to do when you're upside down!"
Tatum is currently in a relationship with Zöe Kravitz and the couple have been together since 2021.
He recently opened up to Vanity Fair about his thoughts on marriage for a second time.
Will Channing Tatum Get Married Again?!
As previously mentioned, he was married once before.
Tatum and Dewan met on the set of “Step Up” in 2006 and tied the knot in 2009. They welcomed their daughter in 2013, but filed for divorce in 2018. It was finalized 2019.
Kravitz on the other hand only recently finalized her divorce from her ex-husband, Karl Glusman.
Kravitz and Glusman started dating in 2016 and the pair got engaged in 2018. She spilled the beans during an interview with Rolling Stone.
The former couple exchanged “I Dos” in June 2019 at her father, Lenny Kravitz’s, Paris home.
She filed for divorce in December 2020 and eight months later it was finalized.
So, does Tatum see himself settling down forever with Kravitz?
“I don’t know if I’m ever going to get married again,” he admitted. “Relationships are hard for me. Even though I am a bit of a monogamist.”
Tatum said he doesn’t have any real fears of being destroyed when it comes to business, but when love is involved… it’s terrifying.
“But heart things, when it comes to people I love, I have a really hard time. I end up trying too hard, you know?” he explained.
