Kristen Bell Finds True Meaning Of 'Frozen' As She Takes The Cold Plunge

Kristen Bell is known for her roles in "Bad Moms,""Forgetting Sarah Marshall," and "Veronica Mars."
The actress is also best known in the Disney community for voicing Princess Anna in the “Frozen” franchise. Well, Kristen Bell recently found out the true meaning of frozen as she bit the bullet and took on the cold plunge challenge!
Kristen Bell Cold Plunges
The 42-year-old actress recently decided to test out cold plunging. She shared a video of herself in a bathing suit going into a 58-degree pool at 8 a.m., calling it an "awful little adventure."
"Experimenting on myself to find the benefits of cold plunging!," Bell captioned the video. "Studies have shown that cold plunging can increases dopamine concentrations by 250 percent. Gimme that 'feel good' hormone baby!"

The "Frozen" star continued to write, "It’s also said to not only improve your mental state at the moment, but also helps with mental acuity and alertness throughout the day. BRING IT ON."
Fans were quick to comment on the video, sharing things such as "Anything below a 79 is a cold plunge for me. Well done 👏" and "watching this just increased my dopamine concentration by 250%."
Another user chimed in, "ugh. I do have a koi pond I could try this in 😁 and it's below freezing in Colorado, but not sure I'm tough enough for this."
"I love that you make us feel like you’re just a neighbor hanging out with us. ❤️," one of Bell's followers commented.
One hilariously said, "'The cold never bothered me anyway…'🎶❄️🎶😂," as a reference to Bell's Disney film, "Frozen."
Others simply called the actress "brave" and "amazing" for testing out the cold plunge and bringing her fans along with her on her journey.
Kristen Bell Becomes a Disney Legend
Kristen Bell was recently inducted into the Disney Legends, alongside her “Frozen” family, Idina Menzel (Elsa), Josh Gad (Olaf), and Jonathan Groff (Kristoff) at Disney’s D23 event earlier this month.
During her acceptance speech, she shared, “Disney taught me to dream big and follow my heart… and that it’s TOTALLY appropriate to burst out into song at any moment.”
Bell also expressed how much she loves Disney, even as a child, and shared a funny story about how she once dressed as former Disney CEO Bob Iger for Halloween.
The “Frozen” actress accepted the Disney Legend award and posted her gratitude to Instagram later that day.
“What a day covered in pixie dust!!!,” Bell shared to Instagram. “Thank you to @disneyd23 and everyone at @disney for making me and my frozen family official #DisneyLegends.”
