Fans of Trinidadian-American rap Queen Nicki Minaj recently commemorated the decade-long anniversary of her debut album “Pink Friday.”

During the celebration, the rapper then passed a special message through a video clip to her attentive fans.

In the clip, the “Anaconda” singer shared that HBO Max will soon release her docuseries. Moving on to the biggest spoiler of the night, the singer-songwriter disclosed that the documentary would bring to the spotlight an unfiltered insight into her personal life and her professional journey. She also added that she was excited about sharing the docuseries with her fans.

A Series About The Journey Of A Rap Queen

“Variety” reported that HBO Max has made an order of six episodes on the yet to be titled series, and each of the episodes will be half an hour long.

Directing the series' production is Micheal John Warren, who has worked with Nicki Minaj on two of her previous documentaries as a director.

Sharing a juicy tidbit about the upcoming project, Warren disclosed that he loves the series because it offers an unadulterated glimpse into one of the most ground-breaking artists of the millennium.

Living The Life Of Onika

The director also added that the documentary chronicles Onika's life; the woman behind the Nicki Minaj persona. He finished by adding that he believes the series will be a great story to learn from and that he was humbled that he was entrusted with the dynamic story.

A modern-day renaissance woman, Minaj, will also serve alongside Warren on the project as an executive producer.

Other production crew members include Aaron L. Gilbert, Brenda Gilbert, and Cassandra Butcher. Serving as producers with Creative Wealth Media is her manager Irving Azoff and Tommy Bruce.

A Multi-Talented Queen

The head of HBO Max original content, Sarah Aubrey, praised Minaj for being a multi-faceted individual. She also remarked on her unique ability as an award-winning artist, businesswoman, model innovator.

She affirmed that the project would provide viewers with unprecedented access to the singer's life.

Fans of Minaj, referred to as “Barbz,” have been anticipating the docuseries ever since her 2018 documentary.

In the 2018 documentary that was released shortly after the artist's fourth studio album, “Queen,” Minaj chronicled and shared her experience in an abusive relationship.

Back in October, the rapper and model shared adorable partial photo of her newborn baby boy on her marriage's first anniversary to Kenneth Petty and fans were in awe.
