Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino Officially Becomes A Girl Dad!

Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino’s family is growing.

The “Jersey Shore” star and his wife, Lauren Sorrentino, announced the arrival of their second child on Wednesday, January 25th

Sorrentino announced the arrival of Mia Bella Elizabeth Sorrentino on Instagram.

“We got an amazing Situation?!! We are beyond over joyed to welcome our little girl into this world to join our growing family of 4 ?‍?‍?‍?,” he captioned the carousel of photos.

PEOPLE got the exclusive first-look at Mia Bella.

Sorrentino revealed the little one was born at 8:22am on 1/24/2023. She weighed 5 pounds 15 ounces and measured 18 inches long.

The official IG account for “Jersey Shore” commented, “a new member of the fam CONGRATULATIONS ❤️❤️.”

MTV’s official account replied, “congratulationsssss ?.”

“Wild N’ Out” star Justina Valentine wrote, “Congrats❗️?❤️??.”

Before announcing Mia Bella’s arrival, Sorrentino shared a teaser clip from the latest season of “Jersey Shore: Family Vacation.”

In the clip, Sorrentino and his wife announce that the JS fam is getting bigger.

Sorrentino and Lauren announced they were expecting their second child last year in July.

Prior to the announcement, “Big Daddy Sitch” opened up about how many kids he and his wife would like.

While speaking to Us Weekly, the ‘JS’ star explained that he and his wife, Lauren, were talking about baby number 2.

While promoting season five of “Jersey Shore: Family Vacation,” Sorrentino said, “We actually are thinking about baby No. 2.”

But there’s a catch!

Sorrentino explained that he wasn’t sure about having a third ‘situation.’

“I don’t know about baby No. 3, but definitely baby No. 2 is in the cards to have a brother or sister for our 7-month-old son, Romeo, for sure.”

They welcomed their first-born, a son named Romeo, in May 2021.

Romeo was Lauren and Sorrentino’s “Rainbow Baby,” which means he came after Lauren suffered a miscarriage.

Lauren got pregnant, but sadly miscarried in 2019.

By November 2020, the couple was elated to share the news that their “rainbow baby” was on the way.

Sorrentino and Lauren welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Romeo, on May 26.

The couple had themselves a “mini-Situation” and the little one made his debut on Instagram on May 27.

“Romeo Reign Sorrentino May 26th, 2021 6lbs 8oz 19 inches ???,” the “Jersey Shore” star captioned the photo.

Life has continued on swimmingly for the new mom and dad, but the lack of sleep is something Sorrentino made sure to talk about to Us Weekly.

In a 2021 interview he said, ““You get no sleep after you start to have your own family. I’m always checking the baby monitor if he sneezes. It’s like, ‘Oh, my God, what is happening?’ But it’s the best thing ever being a parent. I feel such an amazing purpose and such an amazing love that I was just introduced to. So it’s really awesome to … go on that journey.”
