As she and fellow guest Captain Lee Rosbach appeared on the show via video chat with host Andy Cohen, the "Don't Be Tardy" cast member shared the surprising news with viewers.
Kim Zolciak Couldn't Film 'Below Deck' Due To Her 'Don't Be Tardy' Commitments
"We were going to be… we were offered or whatever, [we] talked about doing Thailand with like, my whole family," Kim shared.
As for why she and Kroy opted against appearing on the Bravo reality series, Kim explained that it simply didn't align with their busy schedule with "Don't Be Tardy."
"It interfered with 'Don’t Be Tardy,'" she said. "Andy, I don’t even know if you know that."
Although Kim wasn't able to travel to Thailand for production on "Below Deck," she was curious to hear the captain's thoughts on her potential role on the show.

"I was wondering what [Captain Lee's] thoughts were on six kids, a nanny, Kroy, me. Isn’t that a lot?” Kim asked the captain.
Right away, he made it clear that he was not intimidated by the size of Kim's crew.
"Bring it! I am all in,” he told her.

"She moved in with her daughter, which was a big move for her. She’s very independent. So she’s living with her daughter, eating, enjoying life. She’s doing pretty good but no longer reading for anybody else. She does not read for anybody anymore. She’s like 88 or 89 years old,” Kim added.

However, while Kroy did appear on the show, he did not offer an update to Andy. Instead, he showed off his beard, which Andy approved of.
