Just in time for the holidays -- and in time to give Fortnite fans hungry for some action following the end of Season 4 -- the NFL and Epic Games are expanding their partnership.
Both the NFL and Epic announced the deal on Monday, saying the popular video game (which has more than 350 million players) will unveil the new features on Wednesday (Nov. 25) just before the NFL's annual Thanksgiving tripleheader.
So what are the new features? Scroll down to find out.
New NFL Skins, Player Features And Logo-A-Go-Go Back Bling
The new version of the Gridiron Gangs outfits will include two versions for all 32 teams, along with a Logo-a-go-go Back Bling, which will allow players to rep any team's logo.
Players will also be allowed to customize the jersey number and toggle between wearing a reflective visor or going without one. And the new features will be available to what a joint news release called, "new characters joining the Gridiron Game."
But the features are not limited to Fortnite.
Rocket League Getting In On the NFL Action, Too
Rocket League, one of the most popular recent games on the market, will also add NFL-themed content later this year.
"We are thrilled to expand on our partnership with Epic to bring more NFL integration into Fortnite and Rocket League," NFL head of gaming and esports Rachel Hoagland said in the statement.
"The response we saw from our initial integration within Fortnite coupled with the popularity of Fortnite among NFL players and fans has been incredible, and we're excited for another opportunity to give gamers a chance to express their NFL fandom within Rocket League."
The End For Marvel And Fortnite ... For Now
The news comes as the world prepares for the end of Fortnite's Season 4, when Marvel villain Galactus will join the Nexus War to end the season on Dec. 1., appearing at 1 p.m. ET.
Like the NFL collaboration, the Marvel-Fortnite partnership is far from over, as an Epic Games creator recently said Nexus War is the start of "many years of Marvel integration."
So when will Season 5, the first season to begin with the new NFL skins, get underway?
Life After Fortnite Season 4
While no official word has been made by Epic on when Season 5 will start, it is expected to begin shortly after Season 4 ends, perhaps on Dec. 1.
There is also no shortage of rumors that Epic will follow the Marvel tie-in with a similar DC-themed season.
Perhaps the best way to find out is to join Fortnite for the Season 4 finale and see what world opens up when the current one ends.
