Change your outfit, change your attitude... that's McKayla Maroney's policy!
The gold medal-winning gymanst decided to switch up the solemn vibe on Monday. She threw on a pink long sleeve shirt and a chic pair of brown pants for a smiling selfie. The color of her shirt matched the shade of her blush perfectly and her red lip made an excellent addition to her beautiful face. The selfies come just a few days after she made her triumphant return to social media.

McKayla is tumbling back into the habit of clever Instagram captions after taking a long hiatus from the popular platform.
"swapping monday blues for pink ?," she wrote alongside her smiling selfie.
Her fans loved the outfit and showered her with praise in the comments section of her post.
"Absolutely beautiful smile," a complimentary fan wrote, while another said, "You are so damn cute and soo gorgeous! ?????"
"I’d swap everything I have for you," one desperate follower commented.

As we previously mentioned, McKayla took a long hiatus from social media while she was dealing with trying times. She revealed that her father had suddenly died in 2019 and claimed that it was due to ongoing issues related to opioid abuse.
"Love u dad. I can’t believe it’s real. I don’t want to. I’ll miss you forever. Rest in peace. You were the most incredible dad,” she wrote on social media at the time.
Maroney was also one of the gymnasts that revealed they were abused by former Team USA doctor Larry Nassar.
She seems to be in a much better place now!

The Olympic community and the gymnast community are especially supportive of one another and fellow gold medal-winning gymnast, Nastia Liukin reached out to let her know that she has her back.
"proud of you, love you," Nastia commented on her recent post before she quickly replied, "love u?."
Aly Raisman are also still close and McKayla proudly wore a "Survivor" bathing suit that Aly designed.
"thanks for the cute bathing suit @alyraisman ?," Maroney wrote on social media at the time.

Maroney is doing her best to find peace and revealed that she moved closer to her family after her recent loss.
"If you start noticing the new background it’s because I moved into a new place," she wrote. "After my dad passed away, I wanted to be home for a bit for my little sister, mom, and brother."
Despite the unfortunate circumstances, she reveled in all the positives that she is experiencing.
"I have so much good in my life, but I’ve been pretty stressed out lately. In times of chaos I think it’s a really good opportunity to practice how you react," McKayla continued, "If nothing in life is ever going to be perfect might as well get comfortable with the imperfections now."
