'Vanderpump Rules' Star Tom Sandoval Says Kristen Doute's Book Was Made To 'Sell Copies'

Tom Sandoval appeared on "Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen" on Sunday night, November 22, when he was asked about his thoughts on ex-girlfriend Kristen Doute's book, "He's Making You Crazy: How to Get the Guy, Get Even, and Get Over It."

After Andy mentioned an excerpt from the book, in which Kristen said that she and Tom were competitive and added that she never knew if he was calling himself or her "beautiful" when they were getting ready, Tom admitted he was confused by her statements.

"I don’t even know where to begin with that book," Tom admitted to Andy. "I think she was just trying to sell copies. There was just a lot of inconsistencies."

According to Tom, who was dating Kristen when "Vanderpump Rules" first began airing on Bravo in January 2013, Kristen may have made incorrect statements about what was going on with their computer during the time they were living with one another years ago. 

"First and foremost, our computer was in our living room and we always had a roommate," he explained. 

"I don’t remember Kristen ever owning lingerie either," Tom continued. 

While Tom is far from convinced that Kristen's book was honest, he did tell Andy Cohen that he believed her writings were a good read.

"I’m sure it’s entertaining," he noted. 

Following Tom and Kristen's split, the ex-couple was on extremely tense terms. However, nowadays, they are actually on good terms and Kristen is also in a great place with Tom's girlfriend, Ariana Madix, who he's been dating since the third season of "Pump Rules."

After filming the eighth season of "Vanderpump Rules," the final season for Kristen due to the fact that her contract was not renewed because of allegations of racism brought against her, Kristen began dating her current boyfriend, Alex Menache.

Unfortunately for fans of the show, fans won't be seeing Kristen at all on the potential ninth season of the show, nor will her longtime bestie, Stassi Schroeder, who was also axed from her role on the show due to claims of racist behavior.

Also, during the episode of "Watch What Happens Live" on Sunday, Tom Schwartz, Tom's longtime best friend and business partner, weighed in on the future of their restaurant, TomTom, after being asked about the upcoming ninth season of "Vanderpump Rules."

"We just reverted back to the strictest reopening measures. [You can have outdoor dining but] it’s tough," he explained. "What a brutal industry to be in right now. We try to do the best we can to support all our local spots in the Valley, West Hollywood. Pump just reopened. We’ve been going to SUR.”
