A public memorial service was held for LMP on Sunday, January 22nd.
Lisa Marie was buried next to her son, Benjamin Keough, in Graceland’s “Meditation Garden.”
Benjamin tragically passed away by suicide in 2020 at the age of 27.
During the memorial service, Priscilla spoke and read a eulogy written by Lisa Marie’s twin daughters.
There was not a dry eye in Graceland.

“I’m going to read something that my granddaughter wrote for all of you,” Priscilla, 77, said during the funeral service.
“I have no idea how to put my mother into words, truth is there are too many. Lisa Marie Presley was an icon, a role model, a superhero to many people all over the world, but Mama was my icon, my role model, my superhero in much more ways than one,” the eulogy read. “Even now, I can’t get across everything there is to be understood or known about her but as she always said, ‘I’ll do my best.’”
Following the memorial, Priscilla hopped on Twitter to quickly thank everyone for their love and continued support throughout this difficult chapter.

Days before her death, Lisa Marie visited Graceland to pay a visit to Elvis on what would’ve been her father’s 88th birthday.
According to reports, Lisa Marie took her friend, David Kessler, and visited the estate’s Meditation Garden where Elvis and Benjamin, along with other relatives, are buried.
"We sat there mostly in silence by Ben's grave. She showed me where she'd be buried someday, right across from her father's grave," her friend told PEOPLE.
Kessler is a grief expert Lisa Marie befriended following her son’s 2020 suicide.
"I said, 'Not for a long time,' and she was like, 'Nope, I got a lot to do still.' She was very excited about what was coming up,” Kessler recalls of their trip. “She had such a challenging first and second act of life, and she was about to take on this third act that was so much about helping people."
Sadly, just five days after their Graceland visit, Lisa Marie suffered cardiac arrest and died.
She was at her home on January 12th with her housekeeper and ex-husband and Benjamin’s father, Danny Keough, when she went into cardiac arrest.
Keough performed CPR on her until paramedics arrived. They continued CPR and administered epinephrine. Once they got a pulse, they transported her to the West Hills Hospital and Medical Center.
Her cause of death was deferred by a Los Angeles County Coroner.
“Presley was examined on Jan. 14 and the cause of death was deferred. Deferred means that after an autopsy, a cause of death has not been determined and the medical examiner is requesting more investigation into the death, including additional studies. Once the tests/studies come back, the doctor evaluates the case again and makes the cause of death determination,” Sarah Ardalani, spokesperson with the LA County Dept. of Medical Examiner-Coroner told CNN.
