Olympic gymnast Nastia Liukin's massive thigh gap needs to be seen to be believed. The 31-year-old former athlete and five-time Olympic medalist is fresh from her second nutrition clap-back – if you're not up-to-date, an October anorexia storm just got its 2.0, with the Russian-born gymnast yesterday clapping back after fans suggested she lives off a breakfast of coffee. Nastia might be busy handling the haters, but the blonde isn't done showing off her stunning figure. Check it out below.

Scroll for the latest photo. Nastia, who retired from professional gymnastics aged just 22 back in 2012, is back to flipping and easing into the splits as she gears up for a friendly fitness fight-off in support of mental health awareness. In fact, Nastia's snazzy spandex look yesterday included a video of herself reminding Instagram that suicide rates have spiked amid the global pandemic.

The photo, a selfie, showed Nastia with legs apart and in skin-tight black leggings and a matching, banded, and super-stylish sports bra.

Nastia, likely in her Dallas, TX home and wearing her blonde hair up in a ponytail, posed barefoot and showing off the cheese-grater abs, also writing:

"OK NOW BACK TO TRAINING BECAUSE I KNOW ALICIA IS IN THE GYM TRAINING TODAY AND I'M JUST A "LITTLE" COMPETITIVE."

Liukin had mentioned fellow gymnast Alicia Sacramone Quinn. The 32-year-old will be Nastia's fitness face-off as the two band together for a good cause.

The hip-swinging selfies may be easy-going from Nastia, but yesterday's storm was anything but.

Earlier this week, Nastia wowed fans with a training video showing her back-flipping and climbing a giant rope while in bubblegum-pink spandex. The video was only a few hours old before Nastia took to her stories, seemingly horrified that the 6.30 a.m. kickoff, showing her prepping morning coffee, had sparked suggestions that caffeine is her only morning intake.

"First of all, this is kinda getting out of control," she said told fans, adding: "Second of all, it's a YouTube video. It was nine minutes long." Liukin added that it wasn't "this step-by-step, minute-by-minute process."

Yesterday's storm comes after Nastia made October headlines for reposting a fan DM asking her how she feels about "promoting borderline anorexia looking" bodies. Nastia, refusing to tolerate the skinny-shaming and admitting she felt "triggered" by the remark, fired right back, writing:

"If taking pictures of my OWN body — a body that won me many Olympic medals, a body that I push each day to get stronger, a body that God gave me — is inherently promoting anorexia, then honestly, we've gotten to a place in the world where just BEING is offensive."
